2025 MotoGP Shake-Up: Jack Miller Eyes Gresini Ducati Amid Rider Market Frenzy
Is a Potential Opportunity at Gresini Ducati Emerging for Jack Miller in MotoGP?
Jack Miller may have the chance to rejoin Ducati through the Gresini Racing team.
The lineup for MotoGP riders in 2025 is not yet finalized, with several leading riders still seeking to confirm their positions for the future.
After the Mugello round, Marc Marquez, Jorge Martin, Maverick Vinales, and Enea Bastianini have all signed contracts with different teams.
Marquez is set to join the factory Ducati team, partnering with Francesco Bagnaia, whereas Martin will lead the new team for Aprilia.
Bastianini and Vinales have both signed with KTM, forming an entirely new team at Tech 3 that will feature fully factory-supported motorcycles.
However, the future remains uncertain for numerous riders who have achieved considerable success in MotoGP.
Marco Bezzecchi seems poised to be the next significant acquisition, as he is expected to team up with Martin at Aprilia.
Joan Mir is likely to extend his contract with Honda, a move that has caught many off guard. Meanwhile, the desire to see Toprak Razgatlioglu join MotoGP remains strong.
However, one cyclist whose name continues to be ignored is Miller, as the Australian is scheduled to switch to a different manufacturer in 2025.
According to GPOne, although Honda seemed like a probable choice for him initially, it is now being reported that he will be returning to Ducati.
It is thought that Miller might be a candidate for Gresini Ducati as they seek a replacement for the departing Marc Marquez.
Naturally, Pramac's decisions might significantly impact Ducati's team formation.
Should Pramac continue its partnership with Ducati, Fermin Aldeguer is expected to take one of the available positions, possibly joining current team member Franco Morbidelli.
However, it seems more probable that Miller will join Gresini instead of Pramac, regardless of whether Pramac continues with Ducati or switches to Yamaha bikes.
