**Title:** “Pecco Bagnaia Braces for Marquez Showdown: ‘Storm is Coming’ Warns Experts as Ducati Gears Up for 2025 Super Team
Francesco Bagnaia has been cautioned that a "storm is on the horizon" with Marc Marquez joining him as a teammate at Ducati.
Francesco Bagnaia maintained his impressive streak at Assen last weekend by securing victories in both the sprint race and the Dutch MotoGP, surpassing Jorge Martin.
The spotlight leading up to the weekend was on Martin, especially on Marc Marquez, who is set to join Bagnaia in a 'super team' for Ducati in 2025.
Anticipating excitement, sports analyst Neil Hodgson from TNT shared his thoughts on the possible competition for the upcoming season.
Hodgson commented that Pecco is aware of the impending situation. He mentioned that a significant challenge is approaching. Typically, Marc enjoys dominating the garage environment and, through celebrations and other means, tends to rally everyone to support him.
“It will be significantly more challenging because he’s essentially entering Pecco’s domain. However, Ducati values victors and, as we are aware, Ducati will align with whoever is winning.”
"They might express their love and support enthusiastically, but right now, he's in the lead. This situation is going to pose a significant challenge for Ducati's management team to handle. Typically, Marc comes out on top in these circumstances."
Hodgson wasn't the only person discussing Marquez and Bagnaia; five-time world champion Mick Doohan also contributed to the dialogue.
In an interview with TNT Sports, Doohan mentioned, "In my opinion, they both have dominant personalities. Although their characters differ, their mental approaches are alike.”
In my view, this is a victory for Ducati. They will have the opportunity to significantly enhance their motorcycle. However, it could pose challenges for the other Ducati racers.
"Pecco is gaining strength and continues to improve. While Marc is experienced, he is recovering from a significant injury and a time of uncertainty. However, both riders are capable on their own, so ultimately, Ducati will benefit the most."
Even though Bagnaia is well-established at Ducati with full team support, he is certain to face significant pressure from Marquez.
Doohan thinks the current world champion will struggle to keep Marquez at bay.
"The Ducati team is proving their capability to compete, so I believe that won't pose a problem for Marc," Doohan started.
He is concentrating on improving with the 23 bike this year and is eager to switch to the 25 bike in the future.
"It's evident that they are the leading producer right now. He is currently in a favorable position."
"Ultimately, Bagnaia has to deliver results, and he is continually improving. While it will be challenging for Marc, it won't be a walk in the park for Bagnaia either."
