German MotoGP at Sachsenring: Live Sprint Race Coverage!

Maverick Vinales dominated the first day by breaking the all-time lap record.
During Friday's events, numerous riders experienced crashes, including Marc Marquez, who was absent for the majority of the second practice session.
The Gresini racer has been cleared to compete and will be participating this morning, despite having bruised ribs and a broken finger.
The qualifying session begins after the second practice at 9:50 AM UK time, with the sprint race scheduled for 2:00 PM.
Jorge Martin clinched the win in the German MotoGP sprint, finishing ahead of Oliveira, Bagnaia, Bastianini, Morbidelli, Marc Marquez, and Vinales.
Marquez makes an attempt to pass Vinales for sixth place at the first turn, but his maneuver is unsuccessful.
Pedro Acosta's chances of finishing in the top ten have been dashed after he veered into the gravel.
Marc Marquez made an incredible save at the first turn.
The leading quartet is now complete with Bastianini catching up. Marquez has moved into seventh place, having overtaken Fernandez.

Martin overtakes Bagnaia to take the lead at turn eight, while Oliveira makes his move at the last corner.
As the racers start their second lap out of fifteen, Marquez has moved up to the ninth position.

Martin clinches the top spot in qualifying, leaving Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez in second and third places respectively. It was an impressive session for Trackhouse Racing.
Alex Marquez has taken a fall, dashing any remaining hopes for others.

Vinales is kneeling and appears to be in some pain after a fall at turn ten.
Oliveira put in an outstanding performance to secure the second-fastest time, just behind Martin.
Bagnaia briefly paused to prevent other riders from trailing behind him.
Vinales has not reached his peak performance and is presently ranked as the sixth quickest.
Martin has set a new lap record by breaking the mid 1 minute 19 seconds mark. An impressive beginning for the championship leader.
The second qualifying session has begun at Sachsenring! Who will secure the pole position?
Raul Fernandez and Bezzecchi move on to the Q2 session.
Marquez is eliminated from the race after Stefan Bradl executes a risky maneuver, shifting from the inside to the outside of turn two just as Marquez was nearing.
