Francesco Bagnaia shaves off 30 seconds, leading the pack as the quickest among 12 racers to surpass the 2023 Dutch MotoGP champion's time.
After surpassing the 2023 MotoGP race victory time at Mugello, the leading 12 riders managed to clock faster times at Assen during Sunday's event.
Francesco Bagnaia from Ducati, who clinched victory at the Dutch Grand Prix in both 2023 and 2024, finished the 26-lap race 30.426 seconds quicker than his performance the previous year.
The advancement across the sector, often credited to the updated Michelin back tires, enabled Aprilia, KTM, and Yamaha to each have a minimum of one rider surpass Bagnaia's previous season's winning time of 40 minutes and 37.640 seconds.
The 2023 Dutch Grand Prix unfolded under warmer weather conditions, with the air temperature reaching 22 degrees Celsius on Sunday, a drop from last year's 30 degrees Celsius. Similarly, this year's track temperature was somewhat cooler at 39 degrees Celsius, down from the previous year's 47 degrees Celsius.
