### “Rolling Burnouts and Nipped Finishes: Brad Binder and Jack Miller Reflect on Aragon MotoGP Drama
Brad Binder exclaimed, "I ended up doing a rolling burnout once more!" Meanwhile, Jack Miller commented, "Rins got the better of me."
Brad Binder also mentioned, "I had a solid strategy last night to avoid spinning out at the start…"
Brad Binder had his best MotoGP performance since the season started in Qatar, achieving 4th and 6th place finishes at the Aragon event.
Despite veering off course in both competitions, he still secured seventh place, which was on the less cluttered side of a messy starting grid.
During the middle portion of the race, Binder followed closely behind rookie Pedro Acosta. This developed into a contest for third place when Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia collided with 5 laps remaining.
However, Acosta remained just beyond grasp.
"Last night, I came up with an excellent strategy to avoid spinning out at the start, and I managed to do another rolling burnout just like the day before!" Binder said with a smile.
"I navigated through the field and overtook several competitors. It was challenging to avoid errors since the front tire was overheating while trailing others until the final segment of the race."
"I attempted to regain time by accelerating out of the corners since I couldn't approach them too quickly due to the front overheating. However, this strategy backfired as the left side of the tire became completely worn out by the end."
"I did everything I could to overtake Pedro, but there was no space left behind!"
"Aside from that, we made several positive advancements this weekend. We experimented with the bike's balance, and it appeared to be effective throughout the duration of the race."
Fellow racer Jack Miller had a powerful start, advancing from 15th position on the grid to eighth place by the conclusion of the first lap. However, the Australian quickly found himself facing issues with rear grip.
Following a last-lap battle where he lost ninth place to Alex Rins, he was one of three riders penalized with a 16-second post-race time penalty for tyre pressure violations, which relegated him to 15th place.
"That was quite a lengthy race," remarked Miller. "The track conditions varied once more; it had been dirty for most of the weekend, but today it felt more slippery."
"I gave it my all. It was tough to manage the [medium] rear tire, and I experienced a significant highside incident while exiting the final corner."
"I found my pace and focused on maintaining it. There were several challenges when transitioning from the tire's edge to its center, but I managed to finish successfully."
"I didn't make any errors during the race, but I found it challenging to keep up with the guys ahead of me. We'll continue to push forward."
"I'm pleased to have finished in the top ten, but Rins overtaking me on the back straight during the final lap was tough. I was giving it my all to be as accurate as possible, but I didn't get a good acceleration, and he managed to outpace me on the back straight."
“We’ll return to Misano.”
Test rider Pol Espargaro's participation as a wild-card entry will increase KTM's lineup to five riders this weekend.
“Next, we head to Misano, where we’ll also focus on the upcoming test and Pol’s wildcard entry, which should provide us with valuable insights for the future,” stated team manager Francesco Guidotti.
The inaugural Misano MotoGP race is set to begin, with Binder trailing Acosta by three points. Acosta currently occupies the fifth position in the world championship standings.
Miller, who may be officially announced as a Pramac Yamaha rider during the team's home races in Italy, is currently 15th in the standings and just three points behind Monster Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo.
