Red Bull Cuts Ties with Kacper Sztuka After Four Races in F3 Season
Red Bull ends junior driver's contract just four races into the season
Kacper Sztuka dropped by Red Bull after only four rounds in Formula 3
Red Bull has ended their agreement with junior driver Kacper Sztuka.
A young driver from Poland, competing in Formula 3 this season, has had his contract with the leading Formula 1 team terminated after just four races.
Sztuka became a member of the Red Bull team just seven months back.
In November 2023, Red Bull signed Sztuka following his victory in the Italian Formula 4 championship.
However, during this year's F3 season, he has only managed to score points in one of his first four races.
Despite remaining with MP Motorsport for the current F3 season, he will no longer receive sponsorship from Red Bull.
The driver announced that he wanted to update everyone on his progress and upcoming races in Formula 3 for this season. He revealed that, in recent weeks, the contract with Red Bull's junior program was ended at the partner's request.
"Throughout the duration of our collaboration, my contributions, performance within the team, and the improvements I achieved were consistently praised by all colleagues who worked closely with me."
"I am deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed to the project I've been working on since November 2023."
"The recent decision does not change our evaluation of the MP Motorsport team or our participation plans. For the 2024 season, with backing from my sponsors, I plan to race in all the remaining events of the FIA Formula 3 Championship and focus on growing as a driver, both in competitions and in other aspects."
"My resolve to become the quickest, achieve victory, and eventually compete with the top drivers globally is unwavering."
“We appreciate all your encouraging messages. We are now in the last phase of getting ready for the race in Barcelona. Looking forward to seeing you at the track!”
