Raul Fernandez Eyes Success at Sachsenring, Emphasizes Relaxation as Key to Speed

Raul Fernandez shares the secret to excelling at Sachsenring: "Our speed comes from being relaxed and having fun while racing."
Raul Fernandez is looking to maintain his strong performance at the upcoming German MotoGP, following his eighth-place finish in Assen last weekend.
The Trackhouse competitor experienced a significant accident earlier in the weekend at the seventh turn, but this did not hinder the Spaniard's performance as he again surpassed his teammate, Miguel Oliveira.
Fernandez expressed his happiness with the recent positive outcome at Assen, stating, "We performed well there. My priority now is to feel fully prepared and in top physical condition, especially after the severe and painful crash I experienced in Assen."
"I believe that after a few days of rest, my condition will improve. For the Sachsenring race, my goal is simply to be content, strive to reach Q2, take it one day at a time, and stay calm."
“This is crucial because when we perform well and remain calm and happy while racing, our speed increases. This is also our aim for the race in Germany.”
Because of his recent improvement, it appears Fernandez will remain in MotoGP next season, and the same goes for Oliveira.
The Portuguese motorcyclist faced difficulties at the Assen track but is optimistic about making a strong comeback at the Sachsenring, a venue where he has previously performed exceptionally well.
Oliveira commented, "The Sachsenring circuit is quite distinct and captivating. It features a short layout with numerous left-hand turns."
"I typically perform well in Germany, so I am really excited about heading there for the final race of the first half of this season. Before the break, I aim to quickly get comfortable with the RS-GP24 and finish strong with good form and points."
