The Swiss high-end watch manufacturer, Omega, has taken on a new lease on Russell Street, previously known as the most expensive retail area globally, at a monthly rate of US$51,404.
Omega, a high-end Swiss watch brand, is broadening its presence in Hong Kong by securing an additional store on Russell Street, previously the most expensive retail location globally. The monthly rent for this space is HK$400,000 (US$51,404), as reported by Midland IC&I.
"Of late, we've observed a steady increase in total leasing activity," noted Rosanna Tang, the executive director and chief of research at Cushman & Wakefield based in Hong Kong. "High-end brands are seizing opportunities to move and enhance their presence in more noticeable places with higher pedestrian traffic."
The location was formerly rented by Duty Zero by cdf, a store that sells wines and spirits.
