Max Verstappen has been encouraged to delay any decision regarding Aston Martin's F1 proposal, as suggested by a former leader of a Formula 1 team.

Max Verstappen has been advised to hold off on accepting Aston Martin's alleged £1 billion proposal until the conclusion of the 2026 F1 season.

The Daily Mail has recently reported on a rumor suggesting that Aston Martin has been reaching out to sponsors with the goal of assembling a massive £1 billion offer to lure Verstappen away from Red Bull.

Aston Martin has dismissed the claims, yet both they and Mercedes are thought to be interested in acquiring Verstappen, who is under contract with Red Bull until the conclusion of 2028.

The team based in Silverstone has announced their ambitious goals to vie for the world championship in the near future. They plan to take advantage of the major regulation changes set for 2026 to advance towards leading positions on the Formula 1 grid.

Aston Martin has constructed a modern facility that includes a new wind tunnel, and the team has bolstered its technical staff by bringing on board Enrico Cardile and, crucially, Adrian Newey.

Adrian Newey, considered the best car designer in Formula 1 history, has been reportedly recruited from Red Bull, which is viewed as a significant move by Aston Martin. This strategic acquisition is believed to be part of Aston Martin's efforts to persuade four-time world champion Max Verstappen to join their team.

Ex-Haas team boss Guenther Steiner thinks that it would be in Verstappen's best interest to remain with Red Bull until the hierarchy under Formula 1's new regulations is clear.

"Steiner advised GPBlog to hold on for 26."

"I'm not familiar with the specifics of Max's contract or the conditions for his release, but I expect that it includes a performance clause related to the team's achievements."

"If the team doesn't perform well, he has the option to depart after 26. This is crucial because if the car performs well in 26, it should continue to perform well for the next three or four years."

"When you begin working on a new rule or concept for a car, it can take a significant amount of time to fully disengage from it."

£1 Billion Deal Called 'Fictional'

Although Steiner admitted that Aston Martin has the financial resources to attract Verstappen, he raised doubts about the truthfulness of the rumored £1 billion proposal.

He remarked, "Calling it a billion might be an exaggeration, as it would establish a record that could never be surpassed."

"That sounds somewhat fictional, yet I'm confident Aston Martin would be willing to offer a substantial sum for his services."

"It's possible it could happen by 2027, but there's no assurance for Max that Aston Martin will perform well."

George Russell Sets Sights on 2025 F1 Dominance with Revamped Mercedes W16

George Russell hints at upcoming modifications for the Mercedes F1 W16: “In development for a significant period”

As George Russell anticipates the 2025 F1 season, he suggests that the Mercedes W16 is set to undergo substantial changes.

George Russell has suggested that Mercedes has introduced major modifications to their 2025 Formula 1 car, stating that “these developments have been planned for quite some time.”

Although Mercedes secured victories in four races during the 2024 season, they ended up in fourth place in the Formula 1 constructors' championship, quite behind the leaders.

Since the beginning of the ground-effect era, Mercedes has struggled with inconsistency.

As the regulations remain unchanged throughout the winter, the competition at the forefront is anticipated to be more intense than ever.

Mercedes is optimistic that, following three years of gaining experience, they are now ready to compete for the championship.

During the event unveiling the new collaboration between Mercedes and Adidas, Russell shared his positive outlook for the upcoming season.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Russell explained that although it may not seem like there have been significant changes from last year to this year, these developments have been in the works for quite some time. He mentioned that while some features couldn't be added to the 2024 car, they have been under development for a long period.

"We're hopeful that this will be a positive move forward. Of course, it's always uncertain what our competitors might have accomplished."

"This year, as we look ahead to 2026, it will be fascinating to see if people continue to evolve or not."

Russell set for F1 championship chase

In 2025, George Russell will assume the role of team leader after Lewis Hamilton's departure.

Consequently, Russell believes he can be a strong contender for the championship if Mercedes provides him with the necessary resources to compete.

In 2024, Russell had a standout year, especially in qualifying, where he outperformed Hamilton.

Russell demonstrated his willingness to engage in a verbal battle with Max Verstappen during the final race of the season at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Evaluating his preparedness for a title bid in 2025, Russell commented: "Definitely. I believe I'm prepared, and the entire team is highly driven."

"I believe these years have mostly been a process of experimentation, but whenever we've had the opportunity to succeed, we've seized it."

"That's why I'm hopeful that, with the right car, we can accomplish it."

"We're putting in maximum effort to make it happen this year, and with everyone fully committed, it's set to be an exciting season."

End of the Road: Lewis Hamilton Hits Mileage Cap, Halts Ferrari TPC Testing Ahead of 2025 F1 Season

Published

on

By

Lewis Hamilton is now restricted from participating in additional TPC tests with Ferrari in Formula 1.

Lewis Hamilton will not engage in any more Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) for Ferrari before the start of the 2025 Formula 1 season.

This is due to the fact that he has already reached the maximum mileage allowed according to Formula 1 regulations.

Throughout the season, teams are restricted to 20 days of testing using TPC, with the stipulation that just one vehicle can be used for each session.

According to the Sporting Regulations, active drivers are restricted to a maximum of 1000 kilometers of running, which must be completed within four days out of a total of 20.

The regulations were adjusted following Max Verstappen's test drive of Red Bull's 2022 car during an in-season TPC session at Imola last year.

Ferrari has been utilizing their TPC allocation to assist Hamilton in acclimating to the team before he starts his first season with the Scuderia, following his surprising move from Mercedes.

The world champion, who has won seven times, finished his initial session of TPC driving, marking his first time on the track with a 2023 Ferrari at Fiorano in January.

Last week in Barcelona, Hamilton partnered with Charles Leclerc for two more days of driving the SF-23.

Ferrari's schedule faced interruptions after Hamilton experienced a crash during the second morning session last Wednesday.

Earlier this week, the Italian team returned to the track in Barcelona for a two-day Pirelli tyre test set for 2026. During the session, Hamilton had his first opportunity to experience Ferrari's 2024 car, although it was an altered model created to mimic the downforce conditions expected for the next season.

Reports indicate that Ferrari seized the chance to test their SF-23 once more at the Barcelona circuit on Tuesday. This allowed Hamilton to complete his fourth and last day of driving, as outlined by the TPC guidelines.

Hamilton is anticipated to take the wheel of Ferrari's upcoming 2025 model at Fiorano. This will occur during a shakedown session, utilizing one of the two filming days the team is allowed, after the SF-25 is unveiled on February 19.

Afterward, the 40-year-old British driver, along with Leclerc, will have the opportunity to test Ferrari's 2025 car under competitive conditions for the first time during the official pre-season testing event in Bahrain, scheduled from February 26 to 28.

Hamilton expressed that he feels "perfectly at ease" after spending his initial weeks with Ferrari.

Eddie Jordan Unfazed by Hamilton’s Ferrari Crash: A Minor Setback on the Road to Glory

Published

on

By

Eddie Jordan shares his opinion on Lewis Hamilton's initial Ferrari crash, stating, "I would prefer to see…"

Eddie Jordan offers his perspective on Lewis Hamilton's accident in Barcelona.

Eddie Jordan believes that Lewis Hamilton will not be affected at all by his early accident while driving for Ferrari. He supports the seven-time world champion's strategy of pushing boundaries to understand them.

Last week at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Hamilton had an accident on his third day behind the wheel of Ferrari's 2023 model.

While participating in a TPC event, the 40-year-old driver had an accident at the Spanish circuit during the last segment of his lap.

Ferrari was swift to minimize the significance of the incident, despite the fact that it affected Charles Leclerc's performance.

Accidents during testing are frequent, especially for Hamilton, who crashed his McLaren in 2007 before starting his first season.

In 2013, he had an accident in a Mercedes during his initial test at Jerez because the brakes failed.

During an interview on the Formula for Success podcast, Jordan, the former owner of the Jordan Grand Prix F1 team, dismissed Hamilton's accident.

"I believe that minor setback won't affect him at all, as it's a common occurrence for everyone. Back when I was a team leader, we became accustomed to such things," stated Jordan.

"You have a large supply of spare parts, and it's essential for racing drivers to test the boundaries of their cars' capabilities. Understanding where the boundaries lie is crucial, otherwise, you're not maximizing speed. This is the main concern. Personally, I prefer Lewis to make these minor mistakes now, rather than during an actual race or qualification session."

Ferrari plans to grant him ample time. The company anticipates that, due to Lewis's influence, they will produce more road cars and enhance their profit margins. Consequently, any financial dealings involving Lewis will be balanced by the increased revenue, making it a worthwhile investment.

"I am completely unaware of any deliberate financial business decision made by Elkann, but I believe they will recover their investment several times over."

Hamilton prepares for his first race with Ferrari

In just a little over a month, Hamilton will officially race for Ferrari at the Australian Grand Prix.

Albert Park has consistently been a strong venue for Hamilton, especially when it comes to qualifying sessions.

As part of the Pirelli tire testing, Hamilton has been trying out Ferrari's 2024 car to get ready for the upcoming season.

Following that, Ferrari is set to unveil their vehicle on February 19, just a day after they reveal the livery, during F1's official season event held at the O2 in London.

The initial testing session before the season begins in Bahrain starts on February 26, and both Hamilton and Leclerc will participate in the three-day testing period.

Embracing Change: Toto Wolff on Mercedes’ Bold New Era Post-Hamilton

Published

on

By

Toto Wolff is confident that Mercedes will not experience any setbacks after Lewis Hamilton's departure. "We share a positive energy with our current partners and those interested in joining us, ensuring we won't face any lingering effects."

Toto Wolff is optimistic about the future of Mercedes in Formula 1, assuring that there will be no lingering effects or setbacks after Lewis Hamilton's exit.

Mercedes is entering the 2025 Formula 1 season without Hamilton as part of their driver lineup, marking the start of a new chapter for the team.

Hamilton dedicated 12 years to Mercedes, where he clinched six out of his seven championship titles.

After experiencing three underwhelming seasons with Mercedes, the seven-time world champion chose to switch to Ferrari for the 2025 season. Hamilton aimed to achieve a lifelong aspiration by racing for the renowned Italian team.

Mercedes has seen a change in their sponsorship lineup, with Tommy Hilfiger no longer on board. In a new development, they have secured a partnership with sportswear powerhouse Adidas, which will now serve as their main kit sponsor for the upcoming season.

During a media event focused on Mercedes' new collaboration with Adidas, Wolff expressed optimism about the future following Hamilton's time with the team in an interview with Sky Sports.

Wolff stated that when it comes to legendary brands in the sports industry, Adidas is hard to beat.

"This demonstrates the confidence this team has as we move ahead. When I talked about Lewis leaving and Kimi joining with the CEO, he responded, 'This is thrilling. Let's embrace the next generation!'"

"This reflects the sentiment within our team. We share a positive energy with our current partners and those interested in joining us, so there's no lingering negativity."

A Change for Mercedes and Hamilton

Wolff believes that Hamilton's choice to exit the team will eventually serve as a rejuvenation for both sides involved.

Hamilton's last season with the team could be considered the most letdown of his remarkable career in Formula 1.

Besides his pair of victories, Hamilton frequently trailed significantly behind his teammate, George Russell.

At the conclusion of the season, Hamilton's performance was so lacking that he made a surprising confession about not being quick enough anymore.

The 40-year-old appears revitalized at Ferrari, just a few weeks after joining the new team, and has referred to Maranello as his "home."

Looking back on Hamilton's initial weeks with Ferrari, Wolff commented: "It was the right decision for both parties. Observing Lewis during his early moments at Ferrari, especially the image of him in front of Enzo Ferrari's residence, is truly iconic. Lewis has a unique sense of style, and I have mentioned this to him."

"We are taking a new path by attempting to reinvent our team with a young driver, alongside George, who often doesn't get the recognition he deserves. We have an experienced driver who has secured race victories, and now we're bringing in a talented newcomer. This change feels like a rejuvenation for both our team and the drivers."

Mercedes is set to reveal their 2025 Formula 1 car, named the W16, on February 24.

Lately, Mercedes has chosen to unveil their vehicle at Silverstone prior to conducting a shakedown.

Lewis Hamilton ‘Right at Home’ in Ferrari Red: Exudes Positivity Ahead of 2025 F1 Season

Published

on

By

Lewis Hamilton shares an optimistic "feeling at home" sentiment following his recent Ferrari trial. It seems that Hamilton is thoroughly enjoying his experience with Ferrari.

Lewis Hamilton remains optimistic following his recent week of testing with Ferrari.

Earlier this week in Barcelona, the seven-time world champion had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of Ferrari's 2024 Formula 1 car during a Pirelli tire test.

This signifies another phase in Hamilton's readiness for the upcoming season that begins in Melbourne on March 16.

In recent weeks, Hamilton has had a hectic schedule, highlighted by his initial visit to Maranello in January.

Since that point, Hamilton has dedicated considerable time driving a Ferrari to familiarize himself with his new team.

Hamilton's sole setback to date occurred when he collided while driving the SF-23 in Barcelona last week during his TPC event.

The atmosphere in the camp seems to be extremely positive.

Although his tenure with Ferrari was brief, Hamilton conveyed an optimistic note to his supporters through his Instagram profile.

On Thursday afternoon, Hamilton shared a video montage depicting his initial weeks with Ferrari, accompanied by a caption that read: "Feeling right at home."

Check out this Instagram post by Lewis Hamilton (@lewishamilton), where he shares updates and moments with his followers.

What lies ahead for Hamilton?

Following the conclusion of the Pirelli 2026 tire test, Hamilton is anticipated to return to the track with Ferrari on February 19.

Ferrari is set to unveil its 2025 Formula 1 car, the SF-25, with drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc scheduled to debut it on the track at Fiorano.

All ten teams are set to convene at the O2 in London a day prior to Ferrari's presentation for the official launch of the F1 season.

Squads are anticipated to reveal their paint schemes instead of their real vehicles for the 2025 season.

For Hamilton, the event is set to be quite momentous, as a large segment of the crowd is expected to be British supporters witnessing him in red for the inaugural time.

Once the car is unveiled on February 19, the focus will swiftly shift to pre-season testing in Bahrain.

Pre-season testing for Formula 1 is scheduled for February 26-28, featuring Hamilton and Leclerc alternating on the track over the three-day period at the Bahrain International Circuit.

Toto Wolff Exercises Caution as Mercedes Prepares for 2025 F1 Season Amid Performance Fluctuations

Published

on

By

Toto Wolff chooses to remain silent regarding Mercedes' prospects for the 2025 F1 season. The head of Mercedes, Toto Wolff, is being reserved when discussing the team's potential performance in F1 2025.

Toto Wolff expressed that he prefers to avoid discussing Mercedes' prospects for the 2025 F1 season in detail.

Mercedes aims to deliver a steadier performance in 2025 following a disappointing season the previous year.

Despite securing victories in four races, the Silver Arrows team found themselves bewildered by the unpredictable performance fluctuations of their W15 car, ultimately placing fourth in the constructors’ championship.

With Lewis Hamilton no longer part of the team, George Russell is now paired with the promising young driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Team principal Wolff is cautious about overhyping Mercedes.

Wolff prefers to observe the performance of the team's W16 car during pre-season testing in Bahrain later this month.

According to RacingNews365, Wolff mentioned that finding the optimal performance with these vehicles is quite challenging, and they have only managed to achieve it a handful of times.

"We were extremely dominant in Las Vegas, where we secured the top two positions, but at other circuits, we couldn't compete for a spot on the podium."

"I prefer to keep quiet for now and wait to see how we perform in the tests. That will show us if we've addressed the balance problems, figured out the tire situation, and then we'll know more."

Wolff has acknowledged that Mercedes won't be able to completely eliminate their performance inconsistencies in the next season.

Mercedes achieved an impressive first and second place finish in Las Vegas, where the event occurred under cooler weather. However, the team was puzzled by how competitive they were. In contrast, when racing in warmer conditions, a significant flaw in the car's performance became apparent.

He mentioned to the German magazine Auto Motor und Sport that the key is to stay on the favorable side as frequently as you can.

"You begin to identify connections, such as circuits where your vehicle performs well, practice runs where you tested your car's limits, tire types that blend well with your car, and optimal track temperatures for the vehicle’s performance."

He expressed his wish that the lessons learned during the winter would lead to a reassessment and modification of the development strategy for the 2025 vehicle.

"It will not be possible to eliminate these variations entirely. All teams are expected to experience them again in the coming year."

Williams Racing on the Brink of Major Sponsorship Deal with Atlassian for 2025 F1 Season

Published

on

By

Williams may soon finalize a major sponsorship deal for the 2025 Formula 1 season, according to reports.

Williams is said to be nearing an agreement for a Formula 1 title sponsorship with a major Australian tech company valued at several billion dollars.

According to a report by SportBusiness, Williams is reportedly nearing a deal to bring Atlassian on board as their title sponsor for the 2025 Formula 1 season.

Atlassian is the company responsible for creating the project management tool known as Jira.

This would be the most recent sponsor that Williams has secured, following their announcement of a collaboration with Santander in December.

The Spanish financial institution has accompanied Carlos Sainz as he transitions from Ferrari to Williams.

Securing Sainz, who has claimed victory in four grand prix races, is a significant achievement for the Williams team.

After losing his spot at Ferrari to seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, Sainz has moved to Williams, where he will team up with Alex Albon.

Last season, Williams secured the ninth spot in the constructors' championship, accumulating only 17 points.

Team boss James Vowles believes that Sainz joining the team will be instrumental in their efforts to advance their position on the grid in the years ahead.

"He's thoroughly enjoying it," Vowles mentioned to Autosport during the Autosport Awards earlier this week.

The instant he got into the car in Abu Dhabi, it was clear his focus had shifted. This is his desired place, this is his chosen path, and he's integral to our success. He's blending in seamlessly.

He is an exceptional individual who not only carries the experience of winning races but also has a strong drive and ambition for Williams to achieve success.

Vowles stated that the input from both him and Alex is crucial in propelling the team ahead. The focus has shifted to fine-tuning details to gain milliseconds, rather than addressing larger issues.

"In only a matter of weeks, there has been genuine progress with new ideas and concepts on how to enact change and advance."

Williams plans to introduce their Formula 1 car for the 2025 season next week, with the event scheduled for February 14 at Silverstone, known as the venue for the British Grand Prix.

Ferrari’s Contingency Plan: Why Zhou and Giovinazzi Might Not Be Called to the Grid

Published

on

By

A look into the past suggests how Ferrari might act if an unexpected replacement was required in Formula 1. Although Zhou Guanyu and Antonio Giovinazzi hold positions as Ferrari's official reserve drivers, it seems improbable that they will actually compete for the team, according to journalist Lewis Larkam.

Zhou Guanyu and Antonio Giovinazzi have recently been named as Ferrari's backup drivers for the 2025 season, although it's improbable that either will compete for the Formula 1 team.

Substitute drivers play an essential role in a Formula 1 team. They usually engage in simulator tasks to support the racing team during grand prix weekends and take part in specific testing activities throughout the year.

Crucially, they are prepared to step in as a substitute for a team if one of their usual drivers is unable to compete. This situation is not as uncommon as it might appear, as demonstrated by multiple examples in recent seasons.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Zhou, who was previously with Sauber, has been appointed as one of the two reserve drivers for Ferrari. However, this appointment doesn't guarantee that he will compete while wearing the famous red uniform.

Zhou has taken over the position of Ferrari's reserve driver for 2025, succeeding Oliver Bearman, who has landed a permanent role with Haas.

Zhou Guanyu is returning to the Ferrari team, partnering with Antonio Giovinazzi as our official reserve driver. Zhou was part of the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy for four years, from 2015 to 2018. He will share the reserve driver responsibilities with Antonio during the 2025 season.

Although Bearman is not currently serving as an official reserve driver for Ferrari, he is likely to be called upon if the team unexpectedly needs a replacement for either Lewis Hamilton or Charles Leclerc.

Indeed, Bearman has previously stepped in for such a situation when he was summoned in Saudi Arabia last year to replace Carlos Sainz, who was sidelined due to appendicitis.

At only 18 years of age, Bearman made history as the youngest British driver to participate in a Formula 1 race. He secured the 11th position in the qualifying rounds and eventually crossed the finish line in seventh place, surpassing Lewis Hamilton, a seven-time world champion.

Bearman earned points for Haas during a standout substitute performance in Azerbaijan, stepping in while Kevin Magnussen was sidelined due to a race suspension.

Considering that Ferrari is already aware of Bearman's capabilities and sees him as a potential future star, it seems logical that he would be their top pick. Given the strong technical partnership between Haas and Ferrari, as well as Bearman's status as essentially a loaned asset to Haas, it is expected that Haas would be accommodating in this regard.

In this situation, Ferrari could offer Zhou or Giovinazzi to Haas, who also have the option to rely on Magnussen if he isn't tied up with sportscar obligations. Alternatively, Haas could consider Pietro Fittipaldi, who has previously filled in for the team on two occasions.

This kind of scenario has occurred before.

In 2020, Lewis Hamilton had to sit out the Bahrain Grand Prix due to a positive COVID-19 test, leading Mercedes to bring in George Russell, who was driving for Williams at the time, as his substitute.

At that point, Russell was not formally a Mercedes reserve driver, but the two teams had an agreement similar to the partnership Ferrari and Haas have with Bearman.

On that specific event, Williams swapped Russell for their backup driver, Jack Aitken, following an agreement reached between both sides overnight.

If Ferrari required a quick replacement, it would be unsurprising if they chose to utilize Bearman in a similar manner.

Mercedes has unveiled an initial look at their latest team uniform designed by Adidas for the 2025 Formula 1 season.

On Thursday, Mercedes showcased their new official team uniforms and racing suits for the upcoming season, unveiling them in collaboration with the renowned German sportswear company.

George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli, stepping in for Lewis Hamilton after his move to Ferrari, were photographed in the new team uniforms.

Last month, Mercedes announced a new collaboration with Adidas, calling it a "groundbreaking" partnership. This marks Adidas's initial entry into Formula 1, as they replace Puma as Mercedes' clothing provider.

Mercedes and Adidas state that the collection has been meticulously designed with unique cuts, advanced performance technologies, and tailored features to provide optimal support for every team member throughout race weekends.

It is designed to enhance the athletic performance of the entire team in all their activities, while also offering fans apparel they can wear with pride, whether they're out on the streets or cheering from the stands at races.

"We hold the view that sports should be accessible to all, regardless of the level, and motorsports is included in that belief. Partnering with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, we are thrilled at the opportunity to introduce the highest tier of motorsport to a fresh audience. We eagerly anticipate seeing our iconic three stripes featured in the paddock this season."

Russell expressed his thoughts on the updated appearance by stating, "Collaborating with a brand such as adidas is amazing for our team, as they genuinely comprehend the demands of performing at the top tier in sports."

"The team stands to gain significantly from their knowledge, skill, and meticulous approach. This could provide us with a competitive edge as we aim to secure race victories and championships, not just this season, but in the future as well."

Antonelli expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are thrilled to collaborate with adidas as a team. On a personal level, as I prepare for my debut season in F1, the experience feels even more extraordinary. I'm delighted to be partnering with an organization that genuinely comprehends the mindset of athletes."

"The initial occasion of donning the new uniform alongside my teammates is an unforgettable memory for me, and I'm eagerly anticipating the sight of fans in the stands sporting it as well."

Eddie Jordan’s Brave Battle: F1 Legend Shares Chemotherapy Journey and Health Update Amidst Cancer Fight

Eddie Jordan provides an update on his cancer fight.

Eddie Jordan offers new information regarding his ongoing struggle with cancer.

Eddie Jordan, the iconic leader of an F1 team, has shared that he is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment after being diagnosed with cancer affecting his prostate and bladder.

In late 2024, Jordan revealed on the Formula for Success podcast that he was fighting a "severe" type of cancer that had metastasized to his pelvis and spine.

Jordan, well-known for leading the Jordan Grand Prix F1 team between 1991 and 2005, is still fighting against it.

During the winter season, the Irishman is undergoing chemotherapy while staying in South Africa.

During the most recent episode of the Formula for Success podcast, Jordan shared news about his health: "I am currently undergoing a chemotherapy cycle. Today, as we record this episode, I'm feeling well."

"Let me emphasize this: everyone, please don't hesitate. Go for testing. I'll keep it simple and won't repeat myself endlessly. The truth is that survival odds are high. Excellent medical care is available worldwide today."

"The chemotherapy team appears to be well-organized. The experience in Cape Town has been excellent. Up to now, I've undergone four chemotherapy sessions."

"There's always a chance that it hasn't been fully addressed, so additional treatments might be necessary. While you wouldn't wish chemotherapy on your closest friend due to its unpleasant nature, the prognosis and future prospects are promising. A big thank you to the professionals in the medical industry."

Jordan, who is battling cancer, has been frequently spending time with Adrian Newey.

Jordan, who manages Newey, is spending some downtime in South Africa with the F1 design expert. Newey is currently on a break, known as gardening leave, as he prepares for his upcoming role with Aston Martin.

Jordan mentioned that his brief break or short period of leave for gardening is quickly nearing its end.

"He is currently in Cape Town with me. We're scheduled to have breakfast together tomorrow before he departs to start his stint with Aston Martin. He often visits this place as Amanda, his wife, hails from South Africa."

"They own a few houses and like spending time in the area. Occasionally, they bring their dogs here."

Eddie Jordan provides news on his ongoing fight against cancer.

Eddie Jordan offers an update regarding his health as he continues to face cancer.

Renowned former F1 team principal Eddie Jordan has disclosed that he is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment after being diagnosed with cancer affecting his prostate and bladder.

In late 2024, Jordan revealed on the Formula for Success podcast that he was fighting a "severe" type of cancer that had metastasized to his pelvis and spine.

Jordan, well-known for leading the Jordan Grand Prix Formula 1 team from 1991 to 2005, is still engaged in the fight.

A man from Ireland is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment while staying in South Africa during the winter season.

During the most recent episode of the Formula for Success podcast, Jordan shared news about his health status: "I'm currently undergoing a chemotherapy cycle. It coincidentally falls on the same day as our recording, and I'm feeling well."

"I urge everyone to not feel fearful. Please go and undergo testing. I'll keep my message brief because I don't want to sound repetitive. The truth is that survival odds are quite high. There is also excellent medical care available globally."

"Regarding chemotherapy, everything appears to be well-organized. The care I've received in Cape Town has been outstanding. Up to now, I've undergone four chemotherapy sessions."

"There's always the possibility that the treatment isn't entirely effective, so another round might be necessary. While no one would wish for their closest friend to undergo chemotherapy due to its unpleasant nature, the prospects and future remain promising. Thanks to the dedication of medical professionals, there is hope."

Jordan, who is battling cancer, has been frequently in the company of Adrian Newey.

Jordan, who manages Newey, is spending a break in South Africa with the renowned F1 designer. Newey is currently on gardening leave before starting his new role with Aston Martin, allowing them both to enjoy some downtime.

"Jordan mentioned that his brief break, his short leave to tend to the garden, is quickly coming to an end."

In Cape Town, he's currently with me. We're scheduled to have breakfast together tomorrow before he departs to start his new role with Aston Martin. He often visits here since Amanda, Newey's wife, is originally from South Africa.

Jean Todt Shares Heartfelt Update on Michael Schumacher During Regular Visits

Published

on

By

Jean Todt shares infrequent updates on Michael Schumacher following his consistent visits.

Jean Todt discusses his frequent visits to F1 legend Michael Schumacher.

Ex-Ferrari chief Jean Todt has shared uncommon details about his visits with Formula 1 icon Michael Schumacher.

Michael Schumacher, now 56 years old, has remained out of the public eye ever since he endured serious head trauma during a skiing incident in December 2013.

In September 2014, he was put into a medically induced coma and returned home to carry on with his recovery process.

The Schumacher family has maintained privacy regarding his medical status and has shared only limited information.

Only a limited number of individuals, such as his former Ferrari manager Todt, have been granted permission to see Schumacher.

The ex-president of the FIA served as the team leader at Ferrari when Schumacher was at his peak, securing five straight championship victories with the Italian team.

Todt mentions that he still frequently sees Schumacher.

In an interview with the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Todt expressed his respect for the family's decision to refrain from commenting on Schumacher's health status.

"I frequently meet him and hold a deep affection for both him and his family. Our connection extends beyond our previous collaboration."

"It is an aspect of my life that is now quite distant from the world of Formula 1."

In a Netflix documentary released in 2021, Corinna, the wife of the seven-time world champion Schumacher, remarked that he is "not the same, but he is present."

"'Privacy is sacred,' he often remarked. It is crucial for me that he is able to maintain his private life to the greatest extent. Michael was always our shield, and now we are shielding him," she stated.

"We reside in the same house and participate in therapy sessions."

"We do all we can to improve Michael's condition and ensure he's at ease. Our goal is to help him sense the love and connection within our family."

"Regardless of the circumstances, I will put in every effort possible. All of us will. We are moving forward with our lives."

She mentioned that he continues to demonstrate his strength to her daily.

"We're attempting to continue functioning as a family unit."
