Marc Marquez avoided serious harm following a significant accident during Friday's practice session at the German MotoGP.
Marquez received clearance to compete following a check-up at the Sachsenring's medical center, while the day's second session proceeded in his absence.
The Ducati racer from Gresini team went down after losing control at the front while navigating Turn 11, catapulting him high off the ground.

The incident echoed an earlier mishap involving Marco Bezzecchi that day. In a separate event, Fabio di Giannantonio suffered a significant crash that led to red flags being waved, yet he was deemed fit to continue for the remainder of the weekend.
Marquez cautiously stood up, clearly in discomfort, following his major highside incident.
Unexpectedly, he made a short comeback on the track before discontinuing his race.
Shortly after, Marquez removed his racing gear and proceeded to consult with the medical team.
However, he will still be able to take part in the German MotoGP happening this weekend.
Yet, he faces the challenge of overcoming Q1 on Saturday.
A year prior, while riding a Honda, Marquez experienced a dreadful weekend, suffering five falls before the Grand Prix even commenced. He pulled out of the race scheduled for Sunday.
The Sachsenring circuit holds a special place in history for Marquez, as he has achieved victory in every one of the eight MotoGP races he has commenced at this location.
Marquez remains in the running to compete this weekend, though his initial progress has been less favorable than hoped.
