Hong Kong based fashion tech start-up seeks funding to target expansion in China and South Korea
The homegrown start-up, Code-Create, is looking to secure a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to finance its forthcoming expansion strategies.
Code-Create, a software company from Hong Kong specializing in fashion design, is collaborating with a domestic venture capital fund to gather funds for its growth strategy. Initially, it aims to penetrate major markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business is targeting to accumulate a minimum of US$2 million by the culmination of 2025, assisted by its financial ally, Eschange Capital. The capital raised will be allocated to bolster marketing initiatives, team expansion, and software upgrades to attain its objectives.
"China's market holds immense possibilities," said Kim Wong, co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. He also indicated that Code-Create has already established itself on several social platforms in mainland China and maintains a diverse client base. "Our aim is to extend our reach to the international market."
The AiDA software, which stands for Artificial Intelligence-based Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs a variety of AI technologies to support designers during the ideation and design stages. It speeds up the product development cycle from the inception of a creative idea to the product's launch.
