Verified: Six Locations for 2025 F1 Sprint Races Announced

The locations for the six F1 sprint races next season have been officially announced.

Formula 1 has revealed the locations for the six sprint races scheduled for the 2025 season.

As it has been since 2022, next year will also include six rounds with sprint races.

The 2025 sprint races for Formula 1 are scheduled to be held in China, Miami, Belgium, Austin, Brazil, and Qatar.

The sole alteration for this season is the substitution of Austria with Spa, which hosted its inaugural sprint race in 2023.

Brazil is the sole location to have hosted a sprint race annually since the format's inception in 2021.

The format has undergone adjustments over the years, but there are no planned alterations for 2025 at this time.

"The Sprint has significantly benefited Formula 1 by offering our fans increased excitement and more on-track competition," remarked F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.

"Our audience data, Friday fan attendance, and feedback from promoters and partners all confirm this."

"In anticipation of our 75th anniversary in 2025, we will continue to respect our remarkable past, but it is essential that we consistently focus on the future, embrace innovation, and make improvements to provide the best for our expanding and diverse group of fans."

"The Sprint exemplifies how new components can be integrated into our sport while honoring the Championship's legacy. I extend my gratitude to the six locations that will feature the Sprint in 2025 and eagerly anticipate these remarkable events throughout the season."

FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem stated, "The FIA Formula One World Championship will mark its 75th anniversary in 2025, coinciding with the Sprint format reaching its fifth year in the series."

Throughout this period, thanks to our close partnership with Formula 1 and contributions from all the teams, the concept has undergone multiple changes. The rules and structure have adapted, resulting in the thrilling and widely enjoyed Sprints we see now.

"The six scheduled events for 2025 will once more feature a diverse array of tracks, promising fans an abundance of excitement throughout the season."
