2025 Formula 1 Calendar: Complete Race Schedule and Dates

Below is the 2025 Formula 1 calendar, featuring the full schedule and the dates for each grand prix event.

The schedule for the 2025 Formula 1 season has been finalized, with the Australian Grand Prix set to be the inaugural race next

Melbourne is set to host the season's opening event from March 14-16, marking its first time since 2019. This race will be followed by the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, scheduled for March 21-23.

Following this, Formula 1 will proceed to a pair of consecutive races in the Middle East. The Bahrain and Saudi Arabia Grand Prix events have been rescheduled to take place in April to align with Ramadan.

The Silverstone Circuit will host round 12 of the British Grand Prix from July 4th to 6th.

A two-week summer vacation in August will be flanked by the Hungarian and Dutch Grands Prix.

The 2025 schedule includes three sets of back-to-back-to-back races, with Japan, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia early in the season and Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi closing it out.

What is the plan for sprint races in 2025?

In 2025, Formula 1 will hold sprint races in China, Miami, Belgium, Austin, Brazil, and Qatar.

Stefano Domenicali, the President and CEO of Formula 1, stated that 2025 will mark a significant milestone as it commemorates the 75th Anniversary of the FIA Formula One World Championship. He highlighted that this rich history and expertise enable them to present a robust schedule. The season will feature visits to 24 outstanding locations globally, offering premier racing, hospitality, and entertainment for millions of fans across the world.

"We appreciate the dedication and backing from the FIA, our event organizers, host cities, and all associated ASNs in making this schedule possible and ensuring another exciting year for Formula 1. Additionally, I want to acknowledge our F1 teams and drivers, the stars of our sport, as well as our global fanbase for their unwavering enthusiasm in supporting Formula 1."

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem stated, "The 2025 calendar for the FIA Formula One World Championship, which has received approval from the World Motor Sport Council, demonstrates our ongoing commitment to achieving sustainability goals by regionalizing events. Although our priority is maintaining stability in Formula 1, we also share a responsibility to protect the environment and ensure the health and well-being of our traveling personnel."

Under Stefano Domenicali's leadership, Formula One Management has created a schedule that successfully balances classic tracks with contemporary locations. We express our gratitude to the host ASNs, local organizers, and the countless FIA volunteers for their relentless work in transforming Formula 1 into a worldwide, widely-watched event, especially as we gear up to commemorate the sport’s 75th anniversary.
