**EXCLUSIVE: BMW Shuts Down MotoGP Rumors, Confirms Toprak Razgatlioglu’s 2025 Contract**
EXCLUSIVE: BMW confirms “we have a contract in place for 2025” with Toprak
BMW responds to speculation connecting Toprak Razgatlioglu to MotoGP.
BMW has confirmed that Toprak Razgatlioglu will remain with them in WorldSBK for the next season under an existing contract.
Speculation has once more emerged regarding Razgatlioglu possibly transitioning to MotoGP, with Honda showing interest at present.
Choosing to sign Razgatlioglu is an obvious decision for Honda, as they are currently experiencing one of their most challenging periods in MotoGP history.
It appears that Joan Mir will likely remain with Honda, potentially affecting Razgatlioglu's prospects of joining the Japanese manufacturer. Nonetheless, rumors continue to circulate.
Razgatlioglu, presently at the top of the WorldSBK standings, has delivered an outstanding performance in his debut season with BMW.
A stunning hat-trick at Misano, Ducati's home ground, allowed him to extend his lead to 21 points ahead of Nicolo Bulega, while current world champion Alvaro Bautista trails by an additional three points.
As future chances to enter MotoGP seem to be dwindling, Razgatlioglu's optimal moment to step into top-tier motorcycle racing could be at present.
The Turkish superstar is currently under contract with BMW until the conclusion of the next season, a fact the company has confirmed.
BMW expressed their satisfaction with Toprak's recent achievements in the WorldSBK series in a statement to Crash.net.
"We have a current agreement for this season and the next, and we will not engage in any additional conjecture."
An aspect that warrants attention is that WorldSBK racers usually have the flexibility to exit their existing contracts to join MotoGP, particularly if it's for a factory team.
However, BMW has not verified if this pertains to Razgatlioglu.
