**”Enea Bastianini’s Qualifying Woes: The Key to Unlocking Victory in MotoGP”**
Enea Bastianini acknowledges that he must resolve his struggles in qualifying to secure victories. He clarified that Francesco Bagnaia "was not my focus" as his race was once more affected by problems in qualifying.
Enea Bastianini showcased his impressive performance in the final stages of the race, securing a podium finish at the Dutch MotoGP.
By the middle of the race, Bastianini, who was in seventh place, managed to pass Pedro Acosta, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Marc Marquez, and Maverick Vinales.
Matching the lap times of Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin, Bastianini demonstrated that if he could overcome his early race challenges, partly due to subpar qualifying performances, he might have contended for victory.
Commenting on his progress through the ranks, Bastianini remarked: “I had fun, but being on the bike presents a different experience. You take pleasure in it, but there's also an element of risk.”
"It was a beautiful experience, but it was significantly more challenging compared to yesterday's race. Starting from tenth position, I reached the first turn on the inside, only to find other riders blocking my path."
"After completing six or seven laps, I attempted to pass the other racers. Towards the end of the race, I saw an opportunity to reach the podium and I put in my maximum effort to achieve it."
Bastianini emphasized that his goal this weekend was not to keep up with Bagnaia, but to improve his performance in qualifying, which will be crucial for future success.
Bastianini commented: "Pecco wasn't my main focus this time since he was fast right from the first practice. Jorge has made significant progress."
"Qualifying can be challenging for me, and attempting a flawless time attack isn't simple."
"Additionally, my setup was not optimal on Saturday morning. In the early stages of the race, it was challenging because the riders ahead of me were using soft tires, and Brad was particularly quick in the faster sections of the track. This made it hard for me to pass them during braking."
"I must take a step forward to contend for the win, as we always gain speed toward the end of the race and catch up with the leaders."
