Bagnaia and Marquez were seen making angry gestures towards one another in the gravel following the incident, though initially, it appeared they hadn't sustained any significant injuries.
Marquez veered off course, while trying to protect his third-place spot, with just six laps left
Bagnaia, starting from the fourth spot, attempted a pass on him.
Bagnaia's Ducati appeared to be glued to Marquez's front end.
The two bicycles became entangled and veered off the path.
For a few moments, Bagnaia found himself trapped under Marquez's Ducati during their slide.
However, he stood up and signaled to Marquez, indicating he was fine.
He left with his leathers scratched and worn on his arm, but perhaps lucky that the injuries weren't more severe.
Bagnaia visited the health facility for an examination.
Less than half an hour after their mishap, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen strolling in the paddock area, no longer in their racing suits, and appeared to be without injuries.
Stewards are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
Defending MotoGP titleholder Bagnaia began Sunday three points behind the current championship frontrunner, Jorge Martin.
Martin's second-place finish on Sunday at the Aragon MotoGP has propelled him to the top of the championship standings, with a 23-point lead.
Marc Marquez emerged as the victor in the race.
