On Friday, the Cheng family's investment holding firm, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises (CTFE), announced the establishment of a CEO's office. The office will be led by three executives, one of whom is among the youngest members of the Cheng family.
CTFE has announced a new role that will be led by Christopher Cheng Chi-leong, who is the co-CEO and North Asia head. Patrick Tsang On-yip, the co-CEO in charge of the Americas, Australia, and Europe, as well as Ho Gilbert Chi Hang, the co-CEO overseeing corporate functions and operations, will also hold leadership positions in this capacity, according to a statement from the company.
Christopher Cheng is a son of the billionaire and family head, Henry Cheng Kar-shun. He is also the younger sibling of Adrian Cheng Chi-kong, who serves as the CEO and executive vice-chairman of New World Development, a company within their business group.
The establishment of the CEO office will empower CTFE to boost expansion and enhance operations, according to the company's statement. The trio of top executives combine a variety of industry and regional knowledge, which is crucial for the upcoming development stage of the family office.
