**”Brad Binder’s Rolling Burnout and Jack Miller’s Last-Lap Heartbreak: A Thrilling Aragon Weekend Recap”**
Brad Binder exclaimed, "I did another rolling burnout!" Meanwhile, Jack Miller mentioned he was "overtaken by Rins." Binder also shared, "I had a solid strategy last night to avoid spinning out at the start…"
Brad Binder achieved his best results in a MotoGP weekend since the start of the season in Qatar, finishing 4th and 6th at Aragon.
This occurred even though he veered off course in both races, with his seventh-place finish being on the more favorable side of a disorganized starting lineup.
During the middle portion of the race, Binder was trailing rookie Pedro Acosta. This competition turned into a fight for third place when Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia collided with 5 laps remaining.
However, Acosta remained just beyond grasp.
"I devised a solid strategy last night to avoid spinning out at the start, and I managed to execute a rolling burnout just like I did yesterday!" Binder said with a smile.
"I navigated through and overtook a few competitors. It was challenging to avoid errors, as the front tire was overheating while trailing others until the final part of the race."
"I attempted to gain time by accelerating out of the corners since I couldn't enter them quickly due to the front tires overheating. However, this strategy backfired, leaving the left side of the tire completely worn out by the end."
"I did everything I could to overtake Pedro, but I had no power left from behind!"
"Besides that, we took some very encouraging steps this weekend. We experimented with adjusting the bike's balance, and it appeared to be effective over the course of the race."
Jack Miller got off to a solid start, advancing from 15th position on the grid to eighth place by the conclusion of the first lap. However, the Australian rider quickly faced difficulties with rear tire grip.
After being overtaken by Alex Rins on the final lap and losing his ninth position, he was one of three racers penalized with a 16-second post-race penalty for tire pressure violations, which relegated him to 15th place.
“That was quite a lengthy race,” Miller commented. “The track conditions varied once more; it has been dirty for the majority of the weekend, but today it felt slipperier than usual.”
"I gave it my all. It was really challenging to manage the [medium] rear tire, and I experienced a significant highside incident as I exited the final turn."
"I found my pace and focused on maintaining it. There were several challenges when transitioning from the tire's edge to its center, but I managed to finish the race."
"I didn't make any errors during the race, but I had difficulty keeping up with the leaders. We'll continue to push forward."
"I'm pleased to finish in the top ten, although Rins managed to overtake me on the back straight during the final lap. I was trying my best to be precise, but I didn't get a good drive and he was able to outpace me down the straight."
"We will return to Misano."
KTM will have five riders this weekend as test rider Pol Espargaro joins as an additional wild-card entry.
“Next, we head to Misano, where we'll also focus on the upcoming test and Pol’s wildcard entry, which should provide us with valuable insights for the future,” stated team manager Francesco Guidotti.
The initial race of the Misano MotoGP series will see Binder trailing Acosta by three points, with Acosta currently in fifth place in the world championship standings.
Miller, potentially set to be announced as a Pramac Yamaha rider at the team's home races in Italy, is currently in 15th place, just three points behind Monster Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo.
