### Binder’s Burnouts and Miller’s Misfortune: Aragon MotoGP Drama Unfolds
Brad Binder exclaimed, "I ended up doing a rolling burnout again!" Meanwhile, Jack Miller mentioned he was "nipped by Rins." Binder also reflected, "I had a solid strategy in mind last night to avoid spinning off at the start…"
Brad Binder achieved his best MotoGP performance since the season began in Qatar, securing 4th and 6th place finishes at the Aragon race.
This happened even though he veered off the track in both races, despite his seventh-place start being on the less cluttered part of a messy grid.
During the middle portion of the race, Binder trailed rookie Pedro Acosta. This competition turned into a fight for third place when Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia collided with 5 laps remaining.
However, Acosta remained slightly beyond grasp.
“I came up with an excellent strategy last night to avoid losing traction at the start, and just like yesterday, I executed a rolling burnout!” Binder said with a smile.
"I navigated through the pack and overtook several competitors. It was challenging to avoid errors as the front tire was overheating due to the traffic ahead, especially until the final part of the race."
"I attempted to compensate for lost time by accelerating quickly out of corners since I couldn’t approach them too fast due to the front overheating. However, this strategy backfired, and by the end, the left side of the tire was completely worn out."
"I did everything I could to overtake Pedro, but there was no room left from behind!"
"Besides that, we took some really good strides forward this weekend. We experimented with the bike's balance, and it appeared to be effective throughout the race."
Jack Miller, who started in 15th position, made an impressive start and climbed to eighth place by the end of the first lap. However, the Australian rider quickly faced issues with maintaining rear grip.
After being overtaken by Alex Rins in the final lap and losing the ninth position, he was subsequently one of three riders penalized with a 16-second time penalty for tyre pressure violations after the race, which relegated him to 15th place.
“It was quite a lengthy race,” stated Miller. “The track conditions varied once more; it’s been dirty throughout most of the weekend but appeared to be greasier today.”
"I gave it my all. It was tough to manage the [medium] rear tire, and I experienced a major highside incident while exiting the final turn."
"I found my groove and focused on maintaining it. Transitioning from the tire's edge to the center presented several challenges, but I managed to finish successfully."
"I didn't make any errors during the race, but I had a hard time keeping up with the guys ahead. We'll continue to push forward."
"I'm pleased to have finished in the top ten, but Rins managed to overtake me on the back straight during the final lap. I was trying my best to be accurate, but I didn't get a good drive, and he was able to outpace me on the back stretch."
“We will return to Misano.”
Test rider Pol Espargaro will be making a wild-card appearance this weekend, bringing the total number of KTM riders to five.
“Next, we head to Misano with an eye on the subsequent test and Pol’s wildcard entry, which should provide us with some valuable insights for the future,” stated team manager Francesco Guidotti.
The initial race of the Misano MotoGP series will commence with Binder trailing Acosta by three points, who currently ranks fifth in the world championship standings.
Miller, who may be officially announced as a Pramac Yamaha rider at the team's home races in Italy, currently holds 15th place and is just three points behind Monster Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo.
