Conversely, Marc Marquez fell after attempting to overtake Aleix Espargaro at the high-speed Turn 7, where riders reach 180 km/h, during his final lap and ended up in seventh place.
Jorge Martin, who is leading the standings, nearly created a surprise by coming just 0.081 seconds short of securing pole position. Maverick Vinales rounded out the front row for Aprilia.

The Pramac Ducati rider secured pole position until Bagnaia surged ahead by 0.337 seconds with an impressive time of 1 minute and 30.540 seconds.

Pedro Acosta and Fabio di Giannantonio advanced through Qualifying 1, surpassing Fabio Quartararo and Jack Miller.
Acosta lost control and crashed on his last lap, causing his team to scramble to fix his favorite bike in time for Q2.
Acosta secured the tenth position on the starting grid.
