Abschied einer Ikone: Der letzte Jaguar F-Type rollt vom Band und tritt eine prestigeträchtige Zukunft an
This marks the final Jaguar F-Type
The convertible moves straight from the factory into the Jaguar Heritage Collection…
The Jaguar F-Type made its global debut at the Paris Motor Show in 2012. After a 12-year run, production has come to an end. Precisely half a century after the iconic E-Type ceased production, the last manufactured vehicle is being added to the Jaguar Heritage Collection.
This year, the person in last place has the opportunity to engage in a variety of unique events and activities. However, the final two Jaguar F-Types are in for a treat. The in-house collection of iconic models is set to expand with both the last coupe and the last convertible.

The ultimate version of the two is the convertible model in "Giola Green" featuring a black top. It's powered by a robust 5.0-liter V8 engine delivering 575 horsepower. The seating is appropriately luxurious, adorned in brown Windsor leather. Jaguar states that this interior takes inspiration from the final Series III E-Type from 1974, which also had a 5.3-liter V12 engine and was a convertible.
Nearly half a century ago, on a similar day, the very last E-Type Jaguar rolled off the production line in 1974, making way for the newer, more revolutionary Jaguar XJ-S. Today, the F-Type heralds the dawn of a fresh era for the iconic brand, as it pivots towards a purely electric future with a four-door electric GT. The unveiling of this new model is slated for 2025.
The founder of Jaguar, Sir William Lyons, had a distinct vision to consistently stay ahead of the times, maintain relevance, and uphold originality. Following this principle, Jaguar has evolved contemporary British luxury for nearly a century.
Today marks a significant occasion as we commemorate the F-TYPE and Jaguar's 75-year legacy of pioneering sports cars. We are also looking ahead to a fresh chapter. Jaguar will undergo a transformation, with a renewed focus on enhancing customer relationships and commitment, all while maintaining our unique ability to inspire, according to Rawdon Glover, Managing Director at Jaguar.
Further Information on Jaguar
The convertible model of the F-Type marked Jaguar's first two-seater sports car in four decades. In 2013, the esteemed UK manufacturer snagged the "World Car Design of the Year" award. A hefty total of 87,731 units were rolled out.
Don't worry, although production of the F-Type at Castle Bromwich has ceased, the sleek sports car will still be available until early 2025. However, the very last units are no longer up for grabs. They are now placed alongside the final vehicles produced for the XE, XF, and XF Sportbrake models, whose production has also recently come to an end.
