Jorge Martin claims first place in the German MotoGP sprint, leading the pack before Oliveira, Bagnaia, Bastianini, Morbidelli, Marc Marquez, and Vinales.
Marquez is making an attempt to claim the sixth position from Vinales, however, his attempt to pass at the first turn is unsuccessful.
Pedro Acosta has slid through the gravel, dashing his aspirations for a top ten finish.

The leading quartet is now complete since Bastianini has entered the mix. Following a successful pass on Fernandez, Marquez has advanced to seventh position.

Marquez has advanced to ninth position as the second lap out of 15 commences.
