Sirotkin joins Audi for DTM testing in Jerez
Sergey Sirotkin has teamed up with Audi for the post-season DTM test in Jerez this week as he seeks a racing opportunity for the 2019 season.
Earlier this year, Sirotkin made his entry into Formula 1 with Williams, but after just one season, he was not retained by the team for the 2019 season.
Sergey Sirotkin has joined forces with Audi for the post-season DTM test in Jerez this week, as he aims to secure a racing deal for the 2019 season.

As there are no available F1 seats for the upcoming year, Sirotkin and his main sponsor, SMP Racing, are considering other racing opportunities. This has resulted in Sirotkin participating in a DTM test with Audi.
Sirotkin joined the German carmaker at Jerez for testing sessions scheduled from Monday to Wednesday this week, as Audi conducted a final trial of its 2018 Audi RS 5 DTM.
Sirotkin was a last-minute inclusion in Audi’s testing roster, joining the ranks of three-time Le Mans victor Benoit Treluyer, World Rallycross driver Andreas Bakkerud, and Renault F1 academy participant Sacha Fenestraz for the test session.
Frédéric Vervisch, Jonathan Aberdein, and Mattia Drudi are expected to finish driving the 2018 DTM model at Jerez.
Audi has not yet announced its roster for the 2019 DTM season, which will see new rivalry from Aston Martin as they replace Mercedes, who has left the competition.
The upcoming DTM season is set to commence at Hockenheim on May 4.
