Revitalizing Hong Kong’s Skyline: One Causeway Bay, A Beacon of Modernity and Excellence at the Historic Waterfront
The revitalization of an iconic coastal location on Hong Kong Island signifies the start of a new era. One Causeway Bay, with a view of Victoria Harbour, guarantees a modern design and superior office space in the city center.
Hong Kong is globally recognized for its impressive harbor skyline. Shiny high-rises and architectural gems are juxtaposed with formidable mountains, providing a continually changing landscape that evolves with the city.
An upcoming signature structure in Causeway Bay is expected to make a notable change to its cityscape and signifies the start of a fresh era in the locality. "One Causeway Bay", positioned at a prestigious seaside location on Victoria Harbour, has been referred to as a "symbol of contemporary brilliance and superiority" by its creator, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. The establishment will be overseen by Hongkong Land once it starts functioning.
The location, boasting unobstructed panorama of the harbor and splendid links to the city's other areas, is evolving into a top-tier business and shopping area. Its goal is to establish a new standard in people-focused design, taking pride in its advanced technology features, eco-friendliness, user interaction, and wellness.
The property currently known as One Causeway Bay was formerly the site of The Excelsior Hotel, a renowned establishment that attracted notable personalities, locals, and tourists for almost half a century. This piece of land, historically referred to as East Point, was purchased by James Matheson back in 1841. He constructed the very first godowns, also known as warehouses, on this land, which led to it being referred to as "Lot No 1" and inspired the name of the recent development.
The latest version of the site is designed to establish its own unique heritage. Its placement in Causeway Bay ensures it's conveniently close to key transport centers and commercial areas throughout the city. The building is a mere two-minute stroll from the closest MTR station, and Central can be reached in just 10 minutes via train. Additionally, the nearby Gloucester Road and the Cross-Harbour Tunnel make Kowloon easily accessible.
Unmatched location
The construction is located in the core of one of Hong Kong's most lively areas: Causeway Bay, a round-the-clock community bustling with eateries, pubs, shopping centres, hotels, and health amenities. It's just a stone's throw away from Victoria Park, which boasts tennis and basketball fields, soccer grounds, walking and jogging paths, serene places for unwinding, and a community swimming pool. Additionally, One Causeway Bay offers a straight route to the recently broadened waterfront walkway, a favourite spot for runners and families.
