Pat Symonds will depart from his position in Formula 1 to become part of Andretti Cadillac.
Symonds held the position of chief technical officer in Formula 1 for a duration of seven years and is currently on gardening leave.
He is set to become an executive engineering consultant for Andretti.
Andretti aims to become a part of the Formula 1 lineup.
