Andrea Kimi Antonelli shared that Lewis Hamilton was very encouraging after Mercedes decided that Antonelli would take over as the successor to the seven-time world champion for the 2025 F1 season.

After Hamilton's surprising choice to move to Ferrari for the upcoming season, Mercedes found themselves with several alternatives to consider.

After considering the possibility of bringing Max Verstappen on board and deciding not to choose Carlos Sainz, Antonelli received the invitation from Toto Wolff to compete alongside George Russell in 2025.

Antonelli has only completed a single season in Formula 2, bypassing Formula 3 altogether.

At just 18 years old, Antonelli is set to be the youngest competitor in the lineup as he gets ready to make his first appearance in Formula 1 at the Australian Grand Prix happening next month.

During a conversation with TikTok creator Lissie Mackintosh at the Autosport Awards, Antonelli discussed how Hamilton has been instrumental in getting him ready for his debut season.

Antonelli mentioned, "He's been extremely kind to me. He advised me to have fun, give my best effort, and not stress about anything else."

It seems that he also left a kind note inside the cabin of the Mercedes truck.

"I'm genuinely excited to read it. I find his gesture incredibly thoughtful. Honestly, it's still hard for me to believe that I'll be racing alongside him on the grid next year."

"He is such an important figure in the sport and has accomplished a lot. I'm truly grateful for the chance I'm receiving."

Can Mercedes contend for the F1 championship in 2025? Since the ground effect rules were implemented in 2022, Mercedes has shown a high level of unpredictability.

Their 2022 season was troubled by the bouncing issue known as porpoising, yet a victory in Brazil towards the season's end led them in an unfavorable direction.

In 2023, for the first time in more than ten years, they didn't win any races, yet they still managed to secure second place in the constructors' championship, finishing ahead of Ferrari.

Jack Doohan addresses concerns regarding his future in Formula 1 as speculation mounts about Franco Colapinto potentially taking his place.

Jack Doohan expressed his eagerness to firmly establish himself at Alpine as he gears up for his first season in Formula 1.

Doohan is preparing for his debut full season in Formula 1, though there is already growing speculation about the security of his position after Alpine decided to bring Franco Colapinto on board as a reserve driver.

Colapinto's presence poses a clear challenge to Doohan, increasing the stress on the 22-year-old Australian, who is also the son of Mick Doohan, a five-time MotoGP champion.

Williams decided to let Colapinto go, as they do not have a spot available for him on their racing team. This is because they have brought in Carlos Sainz from Ferrari to team up with Alex Albon.

However, Doohan, who secured a 15th place finish in his first race for Alpine during the last grand prix of 2024 in Abu Dhabi, responded confidently to the persistent speculation at the Autosport Awards.

Alpine's leader, Oliver Oakes, has assured that Doohan will receive an equal opportunity to demonstrate his abilities in his first Formula 1 season, where he will compete alongside Pierre Gasly.

Oakes mentioned on the James Allen On F1 podcast that Jack has faced some unfair criticism from online commentators, but he will have a fair opportunity next year.

The goal isn't to burden him with pressure; it's truly about providing the team with more choices in the future. In my opinion, Formula 1 is all about the smallest of differences.

The head of McLaren acknowledges feeling "enthusiastic" about Lewis Hamilton joining the rival team Ferrari in Formula 1.

Andrea Stella, who leads the McLaren F1 team, has expressed that he feels "excited" about Lewis Hamilton's move to Ferrari.

Seven-time world champion Hamilton is preparing for his first season with Ferrari following his high-profile transfer from Mercedes, his former Formula 1 competitor, during the winter.

The media has been abuzz lately with news of Hamilton joining Ferrari. The 40-year-old British driver recently visited the renowned Maranello base of the Italian team for the first time and has now made his initial appearance on the track with the Scuderia.

The significance and thrill of the transition have not escaped the attention of Stella, the competing team manager, who spent 15 years with Ferrari before moving to McLaren.

Speaking from afar, Stella expressed to Sky Sports during the Autosport Awards that, based on the coverage, Lewis's introduction to Ferrari has been impressive.

Toto Wolff has given the green light for Valtteri Bottas to maintain his "ugly mullet," but there won't be another edition of the Finn's nude calendar.

Valtteri Bottas has rejoined Mercedes in the role of reserve driver for the 2025 Formula 1 season after losing his position at Sauber.

Valtteri Bottas was with Mercedes for five years, from 2017 to 2021, during which the team, alongside driver Lewis Hamilton, consistently won the constructors' championship each year.

Following an encouraging beginning with Sauber, where he guided the team to secure sixth place in the constructors' championship, his last two years at Hinwil did not yield much success.

Off the racing circuit, Bottas managed to stand out, letting his genuine character be seen through his lively presence on social media, highlighted by a funny advertising collaboration with Uber.

The racer, who has claimed victory in ten grand prix events, also made a dramatic change to his look by choosing a bold mullet hairstyle.

In an interview with Crash.net last year, Bottas revealed that departing from Mercedes enabled him to embrace a more laid-back attitude outside of racing.

Wolff encourages Bottas to stay true to himself, though he hinted that there might not be another calendar featuring nude photos.

"We are Mercedes, so perhaps the nude calendar is no longer happening," Wolff mentioned to RN365.

"We've mentioned that, but it's important to maintain his authenticity. If he chooses to stick with the unattractive mullet, then he should be allowed to."

Wolff envisions Bottas supporting the Mercedes team in 2025, complementing the driver lineup of George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli.

At only 18 years old, Antonelli is the most junior driver in the 2025 F1 lineup, having relatively little experience in single-seater racing.

The Italian driver only competed for a single season in the F2 series, having bypassed the F3 level altogether.

Nonetheless, Mercedes chose to hire him instead of experienced drivers such as Carlos Sainz.

Wolff stated that one of Bottas' responsibilities will be to guide Antonelli throughout his first season.

Wolff mentioned that one of Valtteri's responsibilities will be to keep an eye on Kimi.

"Provide guidance and closely monitor the track activities. Kimi will gain knowledge from both Valtteri and George."

In 2019, Sotheby’s auctioned off the 1982 Ferrari 126 C2, making it the eighth-highest priced Formula 1 car ever sold at auction.

This particular model was the final one produced out of a total of seven.

Patrick Tambay secured victory at the 1982 German Grand Prix driving this Ferrari, whereas Mario Andretti achieved pole position and finished third at the Italian Grand Prix with the same car.

Tambay took over the position left vacant by Gilles Villeneuve, who passed away earlier in the season, while Andretti stepped in for Didier Pironi after he suffered injuries that ended his racing career.

Nigel Mansell's championship-winning Williams car was sold for $3,297,968, equivalent to £2,703,000. This 1992 Williams-Renault FW14B was auctioned by Bonham’s during the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2019.

Nigel Mansell secured his only world championship title driving this vehicle, and at the same time, Williams clinched the constructor's championship.

The replica features the engine used by Mansell to secure victory in the opening race of the 1992 season held in South Africa.

Adrian Newey was the mastermind behind the design of this car, which was so ahead of its time technologically that regulations were subsequently put in place to level the competition.

A McLaren driven by Ayrton Senna was sold for $4,359,103, which is equivalent to £3,602,143. This 1993 McLaren MP4/8A was auctioned by Bonham’s in Monaco in 2018.

Racing icon Ayrton Senna secured his sixth victory at the Monaco Grand Prix, setting a new record, driving this particular vehicle. The car was sold complete with a chassis, engine, and gearbox that were all perfectly matched.

In the 1993 season, he secured a second-place finish, trailing his competitor Alain Prost, while driving this vehicle.

Lewis Hamilton's McLaren fetched a price of $6,658,000, equivalent to £4,836,000. The McLaren-Mercedes MP4-25 from 2010, a Formula 1 car driven by Hamilton, became the first of his cars to be available for purchase by the public. It was auctioned by Sotheby's at Silverstone in 2021.

In 2010, Hamilton secured a win at the Turkish Grand Prix with this vehicle and competed against Michael Schumacher in China during their sole season racing against each other.

In 2010, Jenson Button, who was the current world champion and Lewis Hamilton's teammate, also drove this car.

Michael Schumacher's completely victorious Ferrari was auctioned for $6,220,000, equivalent to £5,272,818. This F300 model changed hands in August 2022 at a Sotheby's auction held in the United States.

Michael Schumacher raced this specific model in four competitions and emerged victorious in each. It stands as the sole Formula 1 car to maintain a flawless winning streak, having participated in at least three races.

Michael Schumacher's contentious vehicle fetched a significant price of $6,643,750, equivalent to £5,490,062. This 2002 Ferrari F2002 was auctioned by Sotheby’s in 2019 in Abu Dhabi.

During the contentious Austrian Grand Prix, Schumacher was behind the wheel of this vehicle when his teammate, Rubens Barrichello, who had been in the lead throughout the race, let him overtake on the last lap, resulting in Schumacher's win.

Schumacher secured his fifth world championship title while driving this car.

During its era, this Ferrari was the most commanding Formula 1 vehicle. Schumacher achieved victory in 10 races with the F2002, and this specific model was used to win three of those races: San Marino, Austria, and France.

A different Schumacher-driven Ferrari fetched a remarkable $7,504,000, equivalent to £6,200,930. This 2001 Ferrari F2001 was auctioned off by Sotheby’s in New York in 2017.

Driving the F2001, Schumacher captured his fourth world championship title in Formula 1.

This particular car was used by Schumacher to win the races at the Monaco and Hungarian Grand Prix events.

Michael Schumacher's most expensive Ferrari, valued at $15 million or £13 million, was auctioned in November 2022, making it the latest in his collection of classic Ferraris to be sold.

In 2003, the F2003-GA was the car that propelled the legendary driver to secure his sixth Formula 1 world title.

He won five Grand Prix races using this car.

Fangio's legendary championship car – $29,650,095 / £24,501,356

During the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Bonham's auctioned the 1954 Mercedes W196R.

The world championship was clinched by the iconic Juan Manuel Fangio while driving this vehicle.

This specific car was used by Fangio to win races in Switzerland and Germany.

Juan Manuel Fangio, a five-time world champion, claimed victory at the 1955 Buenos Aires Grand Prix driving the W196 R. That same year, Stirling Moss, another Formula 1 legend, recorded the fastest lap during the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, reaching an average speed of 134 mph in the same car. Moss decided to retire after achieving this milestone.

The item was expected to fetch over €50 million but was sold for €46.5 million. This final amount includes the buyers' premium, and the identity of the top bidder was not disclosed.

Lewis Hamilton will get the opportunity to move past his crash in Barcelona as he is set to drive for Ferrari this week.

The seven-time world champion encountered a small obstacle while preparing for his first season with Ferrari in Formula 1. On his third day of testing for the Scuderia, he had an accident with the team's 2023 car during a private session.

Late Wednesday morning, Hamilton collided with the barriers, but Ferrari quickly dismissed the significance of the incident, describing it as a routine aspect of private testing. This comes as Hamilton transitions to new equipment after spending 12 years with Mercedes.

The British driver, who is 40 years old, has a chance to move past the incident as he joins Ferrari for a return to the Spanish Grand Prix site on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Lewis Hamilton and his teammate Charles Leclerc will take turns driving during a Ferrari test session, which is aimed at helping Pirelli develop their tires for the 2026 season.

McLaren will participate in the two-day testing event scheduled for February 4th and 5th at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Why Hamilton's Upcoming Test Stands Out

In this instance, Hamilton will have the opportunity to try out Ferrari's significantly improved 2024 vehicle, the SF-24.

This will be Hamilton's debut driving a new Ferrari, offering a valuable opportunity to gain insights before he begins his inaugural season with the team.

Following his initial appearance driving a Ferrari at Fiorano in their 2023 model, Hamilton took the wheel of the SF-23 once more during a larger private test session held in Barcelona.

The nature of Hamilton's third test will be distinct since the schedule will be controlled by F1's tire supplier, Pirelli, to fulfill their requirements, instead of being driven by the needs of Ferrari and Hamilton.

He will also drive a customized SF-24, which has been adjusted to mimic the downforce and performance features of the new rules set to be implemented next year.

Hamilton will still gain important time on the track to get used to Ferrari's operational methods and further develop his partnership with his new race engineer, Ricardo Adami.

Hamilton has gained significant insights from his initial two test sessions with Ferrari. During these sessions, he has become acquainted with the procedures for starting and managing the clutch, and has also adapted to the braking system and pedal setup of the Ferrari.

This will likely be Hamilton's final opportunity to drive a Ferrari before he experiences the team’s 2025 model during a short test run scheduled for February 19.

Hamilton is set to share three days of testing with Leclerc during Formula 1's sanctioned pre-season sessions in Bahrain, taking place from February 26 to 28. The season will officially kick off with the Australian Grand Prix on March 16.

Historic Mercedes W196 R Breaks Auction Record with £42.7m Sale, Celebrating F1 Legacy

A 1955 Mercedes vehicle has set a new auction record for Formula 1 cars, selling for an astounding £42.7 million. The sleek Mercedes, once driven by F1 icons, has achieved a remarkable auction milestone.

A Mercedes Formula 1 car, once driven by legendary racers Stirling Moss and Juan Manuel Fangio, has been auctioned off for £42.75 million (€51.155 million).

A grand prix car has broken the auction record by selling for the highest amount ever. The former record was held by another Mercedes W196 driven by Fangio in 1954, which was sold for £19.6 million at an auction in Goodwood in 2013.

On Saturday, RM Sotheby’s conducted a sale at the Mercedes museum in Stuttgart, Germany, where a silver W196 R Stromlinienwagen, one of just four fully intact models remaining, was sold.

Juan Manuel Fangio, who clinched the world title five times, claimed victory at the 1955 Buenos Aires Grand Prix driving the W196 R. Meanwhile, Stirling Moss achieved the quickest lap during that year's Italian Grand Prix at Monza, reaching an average velocity of 134 mph in the same vehicle. Following this accomplishment, Moss retired.

The item, initially valued at over €50 million, was sold at auction for a concluding bid of €46.5 million. This final amount accounts for the buyer's premium paid by the top bidder, whose identity remains undisclosed.

"It's an amazing vehicle with a rich history, but it doesn't quite fit within our collection's focus," explained curator Jason Vansickle.

"For almost six decades, we have had the privilege of caring for this vehicle, which has been a significant exhibit in the museum. However, by auctioning it and utilizing the funds generated, we will be able to enhance our future endeavors."

In May 2022, a 1955 Mercedes 300 SRL Uhlenhaut Coupé set a new record for the highest price ever fetched by a car at an auction, selling for €135 million.

Ferrari brushes aside doubts about Hamilton

However, Piero Ferrari, the offspring of the iconic Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari, has brushed off these rumors, asserting that Hamilton is well-prepared as he approaches his eagerly awaited first season with the Scuderia.

"Hamilton is in excellent health and is doing well both physically and mentally. I believe his age is not an issue whatsoever," he mentioned to the Italian magazine Autosprint.

He eagerly took on the challenge, showing great confidence in what he can do.

The head of the Ferrari team, Frederic Vasseur, has emphasized that he has no concerns regarding Hamilton's recent performance.

At the conclusion of 2024, he expressed his strong belief that the circumstances are challenging. While he refrained from blaming Lewis or Mercedes, he acknowledged that if things aren't progressing smoothly, this relationship could become difficult.

He was aware that his mental state wasn't great while in Brazil, but he performed excellently in the last few events, so I have no concerns.

Haas F1 racer Esteban Ocon disclosed that Lewis Hamilton's initial day with Ferrari created an "intense atmosphere."

Hamilton started his duties in Maranello for the first time last week.

Hamilton captured the sports world's focus with a memorable image taken in front of the former residence of Enzo Ferrari.

On Wednesday of last week, Hamilton took to the Fiorano circuit to test drive Ferrari's 2023 racing car for the first time.

This week, Hamilton kept up his efforts to get ready for the upcoming season by spending several days testing in Barcelona with Charles Leclerc.

It has come to light that Ocon was at Ferrari’s headquarters on the day Hamilton first joined the team.

Esteban Ocon is set to join Haas after leaving Alpine, partnering with Ferrari's rising star, Oliver Bearman, for the next season.

Since Haas lacks its own simulator, Ocon took the wheel on Hamilton's initial day at Maranello, thanks to their collaboration with Ferrari.

In an interview with Canal+, Ocon mentioned that he considered himself fortunate to be present at the same location on the same day since he was also utilizing the Ferrari simulator.

"The scene was electric, with people filled with excitement. It's amazing to witness such strong enthusiasm for Ferrari and Formula 1 globally, and it's evident that this passion continues to expand."

"Having the top driver of our time in the most victorious team is truly remarkable. I am definitely eager to compete against him on the track."

Ocon is set to begin a fresh chapter with Haas in 2025, following a five-year stint at Alpine.

The French driver is entering Haas at an opportune moment, as the team had a successful 2024 season, securing seventh place in the constructors' standings.

Alpine edged out Haas in the final rankings, largely thanks to securing two podium finishes in Brazil during the season's closing stages.

Overall, Haas was at the forefront of Formula 1's midfield throughout much of 2024, showcasing the excellent efforts of team leader Ayao Komatsu.

Emotional Victory: Lewis Hamilton’s British GP Triumph Moves Rival Team Boss to Tears

Lewis Hamilton's triumphant victory at the British Grand Prix moved a competing Formula 1 team manager to tears.

The head of Alpine F1, Oliver Oakes, confessed that witnessing Lewis Hamilton's triumph at the British Grand Prix last year stirred up some emotions in him.

Last season, Hamilton, who has won the world championship seven times, achieved a triumphant ninth victory at Silverstone. This win marked his return to the top of an F1 podium after a long wait of 945 days.

This victory marked the end of a losing streak that dated back to the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Just a week later, Hamilton was controversially prevented from securing what would have been his eighth world championship in Abu Dhabi, following a misapplication of the Safety Car rules by race director Michael Masi.

Hamilton was on the verge of tears during his celebration and later confessed that he had questioned his own abilities and whether he would ever secure another victory in Formula 1.

Before taking on the role of team principal for Alpine later that month, Oakes, as a spectator of the race, admitted that Hamilton's win brought "a tear to my eye."

During an appearance on the James Allen on F1 podcast, Oakes expressed enthusiasm, stating that fans will likely find it thrilling to watch not just the newcomers on the track, but also to see Lewis wearing red.

"As an Englishman, it's natural to feel emotional about his victory at Silverstone, and I don't believe it's a sad thing to admit."

"This is like a home track for me since my team, Hitech, is located there. I must admit, I got a bit emotional and even teared up when he achieved such a significant victory at that venue."

"Watching him come out in red this year is fantastic for Formula 1. I believe it will be an incredible season with all those exciting competitions."

Reflecting on the feelings surrounding the victory, former Mercedes driver Hamilton remarked, "The difficulties we've faced as a team and the personal struggles I've encountered mirror the daily challenge we all face to rise each morning and put forth our best effort."

There are numerous occasions when it seems like your greatest effort doesn't meet expectations, leading to feelings of disappointment.

"In today's world, mental health is a significant concern, and I won't pretend that I haven't faced it myself."

"There were certainly times from 2021 until now when I doubted my abilities and feared that success might never come my way again. Winning has never made me cry before, but this time the tears just flowed. It’s an amazing sensation, and I am incredibly thankful for it."

Johnny Herbert will step down from his role as an F1 steward because his media punditry duties conflict with this position.

On Wednesday, the FIA, which oversees Formula 1, announced that Herbert had decided to resign from his post by mutual consent, recognizing that his two roles could not be reconciled.

This announcement arrives only a few days after Herbert, who has won three grand prix races, declared that he will maintain his position as an FIA steward for the 2025 Formula 1 season.

For the last 15 years, Herbert has frequently served as an F1 steward, beginning his duties in 2010.

An FIA statement expressed regret in announcing that Johnny Herbert will no longer serve as an F1 driver steward for the organization.

Johnny is highly esteemed and contributed significant knowledge and skills to his position. Nonetheless, after a conversation, it was decided by both parties that his responsibilities as an FIA steward could not be reconciled with his role as a media commentator.

"We appreciate his contributions and hope for his success in his upcoming pursuits."

In addition to his steward duties, Herbert consistently took on pundit responsibilities and frequently expressed his views during interviews.

Herbert has faced criticism, especially regarding his remarks about Max Verstappen.

Speaking to Casinoutanspelpaus.io, he mentioned that Max Verstappen's aggressive driving style is a key element of his approach. However, Verstappen continues to refine his abilities in both racing and qualifying, and he still has a lot of untapped potential if the situation demands it.

"The changes in the racing regulations have shifted the dynamics to be more like the days when we were involved in karting. I recall George Russell commenting on how chaotic the apex scenarios were, and now there's more room allowed at the exits."

"In karting, we never engaged in that kind of behavior. Allowing space was something I never agreed with."

Herbert stated, "As far as stewarding is concerned, I have no specific expectations for Australia. Everything unfolds in real time. We will still encounter incidents and receive complaints from both teams and drivers, and we'll need to handle those as usual."

Starting on March 3, Newey will take on the role of managing technical partner at Aston Martin, leading their technical team.

The 66-year-old has been given the responsibility of transforming Aston Martin into a team capable of competing for the championship title.

In recent years, Aston Martin has made strides on the racetrack, achieving consecutive fifth-place finishes in the constructors' championship. However, they have faced challenges with improving their performance during the season.

Lawrence Stroll, the owner of the team, is optimistic that bringing Newey on board will be the key factor in Aston Martin's efforts to take advantage of the upcoming rule changes in 2026.

Aston Martin is poised for victory in Formula 1 with the recruitment of prominent figures like their new team principal, Andy Cowell, and Enrico Cardille, who comes from Ferrari.

During an episode of the Evo India podcast, Chandhok likened the situation to the time when Newey initially became part of the Red Bull team.

He mentioned that it's crucial to consider the significant rule change on the horizon. In 2026, the current regulations will be completely revised. This shift will bring new opportunities. It's similar to the period when Adrian joined Red Bull.

The team was considered mid-tier, occasionally securing podium finishes. The individual concentrated heavily on the 2009 season due to the introduction of new regulations. Although he was engaged in 2007 and 2008, his primary focus was preparing for 2009. During that year, they were initially at a disadvantage due to a loophole, but they possessed the top-performing car in the latter part of the season. From 2010 to 2013, they went on to claim four consecutive championships.

"In a comparable manner, there's a chance in 2026 for significant progress if he dedicates 2025 to establishing the framework and strengthening the team. With the new regulations set for 2026, we might witness a rapid transformation."

Alonso's Final Opportunity in F1

The year 2026 could be Fernando Alonso's final opportunity to compete for a Formula 1 championship.

By the beginning of 2026, Alonso will have reached the age of 44, and his current contract is set to conclude at the end of the following year.

Alonso's most recent victory atop the podium dates back to 2013, and his last championship triumph occurred in 2006, almost two decades ago.

The Spanish driver might end his F1 career by racing in a car designed by Newey during his last season.

Chandhok thinks it would be an exciting narrative if Alonso were able to compete for the championship once more.

He mentioned that it would be incredible to witness 45-year-old Fernando Alonso clinch the championship in a car designed by Adrian Newey, as it would make for a remarkable story.

Yuki Tsunoda might still have the opportunity to compete for Red Bull, with discussions suggesting a potential new position for him. It is anticipated that Tsunoda will soon be announced as the reserve driver for Red Bull's Formula 1 team.

According to reports, Yuki Tsunoda is expected to be announced as Red Bull's reserve driver for the 2025 Formula 1 season.

The 24-year-old driver from Japan is set to enter his fifth year with Racing Bulls, the sister team of Red Bull, after not being chosen for a spot on the main team for the 2025 season.

Red Bull has chosen to elevate Liam Lawson to the position of Max Verstappen's new Formula 1 teammate. This decision follows their move to part ways with Sergio Perez, who had a disappointing performance during the 2024 season.

Based on reports from Autosport and RacingNews365, Tsunoda is expected to assume the position of Red Bull's reserve driver this year.

Tsunoda could serve as a backup if Lawson doesn't meet expectations, and he would also be the top choice to step in for either the New Zealander or Verstappen if one of Red Bull’s usual drivers is unable to participate.

Verstappen faces the ongoing risk of a race ban as he enters 2025, carrying eight penalty points on his super licence.

The athlete, who has won the world championship four times, has made it clear that he will maintain his racing style, even though he is just four points short of facing an automatic suspension for one race.

Max Verstappen must tread cautiously through the initial 11 races of the 2025 season, as two penalty points on his record are set to be removed on June 30.

In theory, Tsunoda, who participated in his first Red Bull test during the Abu Dhabi post-season session in December, might end up competing for the team even though he was initially overlooked.

Christian Horner, the head of Red Bull's team, has acknowledged that Tsunoda might leave the team once his contract concludes in 2025.

Horner mentioned last year that they are fully cognizant of the situation. If Red Bull can't offer Yuki a chance this year, they need to consider whether retaining him is logical.

"It's not feasible to keep a driver in a backup role for five years. They can't always play second fiddle. At that stage, you either need to release them or consider a different approach."
