Fabio Di Giannantonio Confirms Continuation with VR46 Ducati for 2025 Amidst Speculation
Fabio Di Giannantonio has made a decision regarding his career, indicating that he will remain with VR46 Ducati through 2025.
Following speculation about a potential move to Pramac Yamaha, Fabio Di Giannantonio is poised to continue with VR46 for the 2025 MotoGP campaign.
Di Giannantonio exited the German MotoGP in the initial phases because of a technical malfunction.
Nonetheless, his path ahead has been decided, with the Italian stating, "The choice is made, and we'll soon hear the announcement."
Di Giannantonio is alluding to the announcement of his continuation with VR46, where he will be riding a top-tier factory GP25 motorcycle in the upcoming season.
Throughout much of this season, Di Giannantonio has been the top GP23 competitor, trailing only behind Marc Marquez. It appears he is poised to be awarded the sole GP25, a distinction not held by any other riders apart from factory athletes Francesco Bagnaia and Marquez.
However, before proceeding, Di Giannantonio still has over half the season to go on the GP23 motorcycle, aiming to enhance its competitiveness relative to the newer GP24 model.
Discussing his performance this season, Di Giannantonio commented, "I'm pleased. I believe we've been performing excellently during the initial segment of the season and I feel we're totally meeting our expectations."
"After achieving podium finishes and victories last year, my goal was certainly to maintain that level of success. However, with the current bike, we are pushing it to its limits."
"We're striving for key standings, and our goal for the latter half of the season is to narrow the distance with the GP24 motorcycles."
