**Title: “Farewell, Honey Badger: Daniel Ricciardo Faces Final F1 Grand Prix Amid Speculation and Dr. Helmut Marko’s Reign”**
Former Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo might be facing his last F1 grand prix, according to a warning. The statement highlights that he is under the control of the influential Dr. Helmut Marko.
According to a former Red Bull driver, Daniel Ricciardo will compete in his final Formula 1 Grand Prix this weekend in Singapore.
Upon arriving in Singapore, RB driver Ricciardo faced increasing rumors suggesting he might be replaced by Liam Lawson midway through the season.
This could signal the potential conclusion of his 14-year tenure in Formula 1.
"Daniel Ricciardo's final F1 Grand Prix will take place in Singapore," stated Robert Doornbos, a former reserve and test driver for Red Bull who now works as an F1 analyst.
Doornbos added, "The Australian's Formula 1 season is facing some challenges. This is unexpected for F1 enthusiasts, given his extensive experience. At 35, Daniel should be outpacing many of the newcomers."
Despite efforts, things haven't been successful, and this has been the situation for quite a while. Ever since he made the switch from Red Bull Racing to Renault in 2018, the 'Honey Badger' hasn't made significant progress.
“It’s challenging to pinpoint the exact reason for Ricciardo's decline. According to Christian Horner, Ricciardo developed some unusual driving techniques during his tenure with Renault and McLaren.
"It's a plausible explanation, though you would think that by now Daniel would have had sufficient time to break those habits."
"I believe that Ricciardo might now be privately regretting his move to the French team, although I must admit that I can see why he made the change."
“It’s definitely challenging to stay competitive against Verstappen, and Renault’s financial incentives and performance guarantees were likely hard to resist.”
“Ultimately, the current circumstances are what they are. It's not ideal for Red Bull to have an underperforming driver in his mid-thirties racing for their rookie team.
"Absolutely not, as the rookie team will need to provide some skilled players for the main team, which is still dealing with the underwhelming performance of Checo Perez."
"What further complicates matters for Ricciardo is being under the influence of Dr. Helmut Marko. As a formidable advisor, Marko is notorious for making abrupt decisions regarding drivers' positions, often without much notice—consider Verstappen's swift move to Red Bull, Gasly's experiences, or Albon's situation!"
For months, the rumor mill has been working overtime. It's hard to believe that only weeks ago, we were discussing how delighted Ricciardo was while flying in Verstappen's helicopter.
"However, it saddens me to say that I don't foresee Ricciardo staying in Formula 1 much longer."
“It’s hard to believe that Helmut would abandon him, especially since he’s already struggling to keep pace with Yuki.”
"When will Daniel's name be removed from his pit box? It's difficult to predict. I believe he will still be driving in Singapore, and a decision is likely to be made within the four weeks before the race in the United States."
"The suggested timeline aligns well with the commitments made to Liam Lawson, who remains under contract with VCarb (or Red Bull) for a few more races this season."
"What are Daniel's plans after that? Maybe he'll embark on an exciting journey in the United States?"
“Daniel is known for being exceptionally sociable. He constantly wears a smile and radiates positivity. Truly unique.”
Ricciardo acknowledged that this could potentially be his final grand prix.
He explained to Sky Sports that he understands its nature and functionality.
"I was aware that there would be various dates and deadlines throughout the year, whether during the summer break or now after Singapore, so the period following Singapore is the next one."
