German MotoGP at Sachsenring: Live Coverage of the Sprint Race!

Maverick Vinales set the pace on the first day by breaking the all-time lap record.
On Friday, numerous riders experienced crashes, among them Marc Marquez, who was absent for the majority of the second practice session.
The Gresini team rider has been cleared to participate and will be competing this morning, despite having bruised ribs and a broken finger.
The qualification session begins following the second practice at 09:50 UK time, with the sprint race scheduled to commence at 14:00.
Jorge Martin clinches the win in the German MotoGP sprint, outpacing Oliveira, Bagnaia, Bastianini, Morbidelli, Marc Marquez, and Vinales.
Marquez attempts to pass Vinales for sixth place, but his move at turn one is unsuccessful.
Pedro Acosta's chances of finishing in the top ten have been dashed after he went off into the gravel.
Marc Marquez made an incredible save at the first turn.
The leading quartet is now complete with Bastianini catching up. Marquez has moved into seventh position after overtaking Fernandez.

Martin overtakes Bagnaia to take the lead at turn eight, while Oliveira also makes a move at the final corner.
Marquez advances to ninth place as the riders start the second of 15 laps.
Bagnaia takes the lead as they enter the first turn. The reigning world champion has made an incredible start.

Good afternoon and thank you for joining us again at the German MotoGP! The sprint race is scheduled to start at 2:00 PM UK time.
Martin clinches the top spot, outpacing both Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez. Trackhouse Racing had an exceptional qualifying session.
Alex Marquez has crashed, putting an end to any remaining hopes for others.
What an unfortunate crash for Vinales!
Vinales has fallen at turn ten and is now on his knees, appearing to be in some pain.
Oliveira put in an excellent performance to secure the second-fastest time, just behind Martin.
Bagnaia paused briefly to avoid having other riders tailing him.
Vinales has not yet reached peak performance and is presently the sixth quickest.
Martin sets a new lap record by breaking the mid 1 minute and 19 seconds mark. An impressive start for the championship leader.
The second quarter is underway at Sachsenring! Who will secure the top spot?
Raul Fernandez and Bezzecchi are moving on to Q2.
