**Teen Prodigy Isack Hadjar Eyes Full-Time Red Bull F1 Seat for 2025: Christian Horner Weighs In**
Is Red Bull's newest young prodigy in line for a 2025 seat?
"His performance is proving he's a strong contender for next year."
Christian Horner asserts that Isack Hadjar has the opportunity to secure a permanent F1 racing position with Red Bull.
The position of the second driver at Red Bull's affiliate team, next to Yuki Tsunoda, is still undecided, as no determination has been made regarding Daniel Ricciardo's future.
Among the talented individuals in Red Bull's roster is Liam Lawson, who notably stepped in for Ricciardo at AlphaTauri last year and left a strong impression.
However, Hadjar has now advanced himself towards the front of the line.
The French driver, aged 19, participated for RB in the first practice session at Silverstone last Friday.
On Sunday, he delivered an outstanding performance, starting from pole position and winning the Formula 2 feature race.
Hadjar has taken the lead in the F2 championship, surpassing competitors such as Ollie Bearman, who is set to join Haas next year.
The head of the Red Bull team was questioned about whether Hadjar could secure a spot in Formula 1 for the 2025 season.
"He's performing well," commented Horner. "He had a successful weekend."
"It's great to witness Isack and Arvid Lindblad triumph in the Formula 3 race this morning, showcasing their exceptional skills and potential."
"He's once more proving his worth for next season, which is why we're taking our time in deciding the positions in the partner team."
When asked if Hadjar could realistically take the second Red Bull seat, Horner responded, "There's always a possibility."
Hadjar secured his third feature race victory in the F2 series of 2024 at Silverstone.
He mentioned before regarding his rise: "I had a fascination with cars, but it wasn't specifically due to racing; it was because of the film ‘Cars’."
"My grandparents and parents mostly work as doctors or physicists, so they aren’t involved in motorsport at all. However, my dad has always been a Formula 1 fan and watched it regularly."
"When I was a child, I dreamed of driving go-karts because I began following Formula 1 when I was six years old. As a result, my parents got me a go-kart when I turned seven."
"My passion for racing developed on its own."
"I aspire to become an F1 champion, and I look up to Ayrton Senna and Lewis Hamilton as my racing idols.”
