The prime minister emphasized the significance of adhering to the rules amid controversy over a donor covering the cost of his wife's wardrobe.
The Conservative Party is demanding a probe into Sir Keir Starmer following allegations that he did not disclose that his major personal contributor, Lord Alli, covered the costs of a personal shopper, as well as clothing and adjustments for Lady Victoria Starmer, potentially violating parliamentary regulations.
In the meantime, the Scottish National Party has urged "Catwalk Keir" to contribute the funds he received for purchasing clothing for himself and his wife to Age Scotland, in support of seniors who are missing out on their winter fuel allowances.
"Additionally, if he possesses any extra designer hats, gloves, and jackets, he ought to give those away as well to assist in keeping the elderly warm while energy costs skyrocket under his leadership," stated Kirsty Blackman, the party’s MP.

A spokesperson from Number 10 informed Sky News that the issue was an unintentional mistake that had been rectified following consultations with the authorities upon assuming office.
This has sparked additional inquiries into why Sir Keir and his wife required clothing donations given that the prime minister's yearly earnings are approximately £160,000.
Addressing the media this Monday, the prime minister seemed to imply that he would keep accepting gifts from Lord Alli should they be presented.
When questioned about the situation, he responded, "I will adhere to the regulations whenever there are gifts involved from any party."
According to The Times, Sir Keir has been gifted and has openly declared receiving work attire and multiple pairs of eyeglasses valued at close to £19,000 this year from Lord Alli, who previously chaired the online fashion giant Asos.
Furthermore, the peer, who is believed to have a personal fortune of around £200 million, shelled out £20,000 on lodging for the current prime minister throughout the campaign, as well as an equivalent amount on expenses for a "private office," according to the report.
It is believed that the contributions made towards Lady Victoria's wardrobe were reported after the mandated 28-day period within which Members of Parliament are supposed to declare received gifts and donations.
During a visit to Rome, when questioned about the controversy, the Prime Minister stated, "Adhering to the rules is a priority for me. I have consistently emphasized this point, both before and after the election."
"That's the reason why, soon after the polls closed, my staff sought guidance on the appropriate statements to make to ensure compliance with the regulations."
"Recently, they sought additional advice, following which they made the necessary disclosures."
Sir Keir emphasized: "It's crucial to me that the regulations are adhered to.
"I was really happy that my team took the initiative to reach out not just once, but twice. It's crucial for us to maintain transparency, crucial that you and everyone else can see that the rules are being adhered to."

Shadow Science and Technology Secretary Andrew Griffith commented, "It’s astonishing that the prime minister finds it reasonable for retirees earning £13,000 annually to manage their heating costs, while he, earning twelve times more, seems unable to afford clothing for himself or his wife.
Senior members of his team are pushing for a clothing allowance funded by taxpayers to maintain a polished appearance, meanwhile, citizens nationwide are grappling with difficult decisions due to the detrimental policies implemented by Labour.
"Labour pledged transformation, yet within a mere 10 weeks, the only noticeable shift has been their wardrobe. They've opted to prioritize their interests and those of their union backers over the needs of society's most disadvantaged."
