Sir Keir Starmer reported that Joe Biden was "in fine spirits" following their discussion at the White House, which coincided with the NATO summit.
The Prime Minister brushed aside worries about the US President's mental fitness, amid calls for Mr. Biden to withdraw as the Democratic nominee before the upcoming November election.
Questions have been raised about Mr. Biden's fitness for the presidency following a challenging initial debate with his Republican opponent, Donald Trump, which took place almost two weeks ago.
On Tuesday, a letter from the president's physician stated that Mr. Biden has not exhibited any symptoms of Parkinson's disease or other neurological disorders, following claims that a specialist had seen the president multiple times in the last year.

In a recent op-ed for The New York Times, famed actor George Clooney penned an article on Wednesday advising his friend to resign, stating that he is no longer the impactful "Joe 'big f***ing deal' Biden of 2010".
However, Sir Keir explained to Sky News' political editor Beth Rigby, "I met with him yesterday. We were scheduled for a 45-minute one-on-one meeting, but it lasted almost an hour by the time we concluded.

"We discussed a wide range of important strategic topics that I was eager to address. We proceeded swiftly.
"He was performing well, and I was quite happy with how much we managed to accomplish."
When questioned about whether he believes the critiques directed at Mr. Biden are "misguided," Sir Keir responded affirmatively, stating, "Yes."
"In my opinion, he was performing well, and clearly, I was eager to talk about Ukraine, but we also covered many other topics last night."
