Opel Mokka 2025: Subtle Facelift and Advanced Infotainment at a Lower Price Point
Opel Mokka (2025): Subtle Redesign
Minor updates to the interior and exterior along with a new infotainment system. Plus, it's becoming more affordable!
It was the talk of the town: Roughly a year following the Opel Corsa's revamp, its SUV counterpart, the Mokka, is undergoing a refresh. However, these modifications might not be immediately noticeable at first glance. The reason being, unlike the Corsa, the Mokka has featured the Vizor front design since 2021 as the first Opel vehicle to do so.
The Opel boss acknowledges the subtlety of the revamped model, stating, "Our Mokka continues to be a crowd favorite. Its bold, distinct, and unmistakable style sets it apart. That's why we've only gently refined its modern look with the latest Opel insignia and graphic touches.
The most significant transformation is evident in the interior. The dashboard now has a more streamlined appearance, reflecting the Opel Vizor design of the car's front. Additionally, drivers and passengers of the new Mokka will experience the latest generation of infotainment systems. "We're excited to announce that we're already taking orders for the new Mokka," says Florian Huettl.

The Opel Mokka's design is further honed with the addition of the new Opel lightning bolt emblem, placed at the heart of the Opel Vizor brand face. The black Vizor seamlessly blends the updated lightning bolt with the headlight units to form a single visual component. The iconic wing signature of the LED lights, found both at the front and rear – now presented in a fresh interpretation similar to the new Opel Frontera – features three "light blocks" instead of a single line, creating an uncompromising and bold appearance.
In the future, a striking black design line that extends from the hood to the rear above the side windows will catch the eye in every version. The Mokka GS also features black trims on the front, rear, and wheel arches. A high-gloss black decorative stripe running along the lower door surfaces to the back reflects the window design line along the side profile. On the left, you can see the previous model, and on the right, the updated version.
Opel claims that the Mokka Electric's unique aerodynamic wheels and redesigned front bumpers enhance the vehicle's aerodynamics, thereby increasing its efficiency. Additionally, the latest Mokka model completely omits the use of chrome embellishments on its exterior design.
Opel Mokka (2025): Interior
The interior design of the upcoming Opel Mokka also emphasizes sustainability. All fabrics are crafted from materials that incorporate recycled components. The steering wheel, with its new flattened top and bottom design, not only exudes a sporty feel but also brings the distinctive Opel emblem into the vehicle's interior. This is complemented by horizontal lines that echo the Opel Compass motif found on the exterior.
The center console, gleaming in a soft silver hue and situated between the front seats, now boasts an even more defined appearance than before. Certain adjustments that were previously managed by buttons have been assimilated into the central color touchscreen by the designers and engineers. Additionally, the remaining switches, such as those for the electric parking brake and selectable driving modes (available in the Mokka Electric and automatic models), originate from the entirely redesigned Opel Grandland.
Upcoming Opel Mokka Model (Scheduled for 202
The latest iteration of the Mokka comes equipped with an advanced multimedia and navigation infotainment system, elevating the vehicle's features. Now standard, the updated model includes a 10-inch digital display for the driver and a touchscreen of the same size with color. This touchscreen can be easily operated with smartphone-like widgets, and when paired with the available navigation system, a simple "Hey Opel" command activates the voice recognition feature.
Both screens offer multiple customization options. The system identifies the driver's personal profile through the connected smartphone, which in the new Mokka, always connects wirelessly. Setting up various virtual shortcuts on the central screen and selecting from different color themes provide additional personalization choices.
The latest Opel Mokka, set for a 2025 release, will come in two trim levels named "Edition" and "GS" and offer two customization packages. Prospective buyers can choose from a selection of powertrains including a cost-effective gasoline engine starting at €26,740 in Germany, along with two electrified options.
