Nigel Farage's position as a presenter at GB News brought him close to £98,000 each month, a sum that surpasses the yearly earnings of a Member of Parliament.
The leader of Reform UK was making £97,900 monthly as a host on the news network, which is higher than the yearly salary of an MP, set at £91,346, not including expenses.
The register of members' financial interests, which documents secondary jobs, contributions, gifts, and additional benefits of MPs, shows that Mr. Farage earned £4,000 monthly for his writing contributions to the Daily Telegraph.
Mr. Farage, who recently won his first parliamentary seat in Clacton during the elections, disclosed that he received a donation of £32,836 from businessman Christopher Harborne. This donation was specifically for a trip to the US on July 17, following an assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump.
The leader of the Reform Party stated that the aim of their visit was to "offer support to a friend who narrowly escaped death and to represent Clacton internationally."
Lee Anderson, who is also a Reform MP, stated that his annual income is £100,000, which he earns by serving as a presenter and contributor for GB News.
