### “Max Verstappen Fires Back at Critics: ‘They Can All F*** Off’ After Frustrating Hungarian GP Finish
“I don’t care about their opinions” – Max Verstappen’s harsh reply to F1 detractors
Max Verstappen fiercely responded to his critics following a frustrating Hungarian Grand Prix, according to Lewis Larkam in Budapest.
Max Verstappen has delivered a blunt retort to his detractors, advising them to "f*** off" following the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix.
The current world champion experienced a disappointing race in Budapest, ending up in fifth position after a late-race collision with former title contender Lewis Hamilton during their battle for the last podium spot.
During Sunday's 70-lap race, Verstappen expressed dissatisfaction with his car and criticized Red Bull's strategy through a series of heated team radio messages.
When asked about accusations that he let his frustration get the better of him in Hungary, Verstappen candidly responded: “I’ve seen many remarks from people claiming I was overly frustrated, that my comments were excessive, and that I showed disrespect to the team.”
"They can all go away."
Max Verstappen, who faced criticism for his collision with Lando Norris of McLaren during the Austrian Grand Prix, implied that Lewis Hamilton was responsible for their crash late in the race.
The driver shared his experience in Austria, stating, "I faced a lot of criticism there, with accusations of changing direction while braking and other complaints." He explained, "I position my car during the initial maneuver and then maintain a straight line."
"Today, while braking, he continued to turn to the right, which caused me to lock up because I was attempting to make a move. However, I noticed the car on the outside kept approaching me."
"Otherwise, we would have crashed earlier. I had to bring the car to a halt, which is why it skidded."
When questioned about what frustrated him more, Red Bull’s strategy or his dissatisfaction with the car, Verstappen responded: "Today’s strategy was the main issue. I was aware from the start that it would be a challenging race and that overtaking McLaren would be difficult.
“However, securing a P3 finish proved to be quite challenging.
"I need to discuss this with the team. It's possible they were unaware of how challenging it was to keep up."
