Leclerc Casts Doubt on Ferrari’s F1 2024 Prospects: No Clear Favorites in Upcoming Races

Charles Leclerc has expressed a pessimistic outlook on Ferrari's prospects of securing another F1 win following their most recent triumph in Monaco for the rest of the season.
Following the launch of their Barcelona upgrade, Ferrari has been experiencing persistent issues with bouncing.
The situation was so critical that Ferrari abandoned their enhancement kit during the British Grand Prix.
Ferrari introduced a minor modification in Hungary aimed at addressing their issues with bouncing near the floor section.
Despite Leclerc's impressive finish in fourth place, they remained the fourth quickest team during the Hungarian race.
Leclerc is skeptical that Ferrari will emerge as the top contender in the upcoming races.
"No, I don't believe so, particularly under the current circumstances with our car," he expressed in Hungary, in a conversation with Crash.net in the paddock.
"Monaco features a highly unique circuit where we demonstrated strong performance, yet this does not guarantee our speed at other tracks throughout the season."
"Therefore, in my opinion, we aren't considered the top choice in any scenario when you look at the facts."
Leclerc is optimistic about advancements regarding the floor area, yet anticipates that this problem will persist in the upcoming Belgian Grand Prix.
"Leclerc further mentioned, 'We're definitely making progress in our comprehension with the floor; it's moving towards the right path for sure.'"
"The challenge we're dealing with is binary in nature; it's all or nothing, making it hard to observe any progress."
