Pedro Acosta is currently under investigation for a potential violation involving tire pressure. If found guilty, he may be stripped of his second-place finish, which would result in Bagnaia gaining an additional four points.
checkered flag
Jorge Martin emerges victorious in the Indonesian Grand Prix, surpassing both Acosta and Bagnaia.

Last lap now. The leaders remain the same.
Lap 26 out of 27

It looks like there's a front fender from a Yamaha near the last turn. It's unclear whose it is.
Lap 25 of 27: Martin has extended his lead to 2.2 seconds.
Due to the turmoil experienced during this race, merely 12 cyclists are expected to reach the end.
Lap 24 of 27
There are only four laps remaining. Martin is ahead of Acosta by 1.8 seconds, while Bagnaia holds the third position. The reigning world champion trails the second place by 3.6 seconds, making it unlikely for any changes in the top three unless something unexpected happens.
Bagnaia overtakes Morbidelli at Turn 10, securing a spot in the top three positions.
Lap 23 of 27:
Martin is ahead by 1.7 seconds from Acosta, while Bagnaia is closely pursuing Morbidelli for the third position.
Bagnaia moved up to fourth place when Bezzecchi, the VR46 team rider, went off track at Turn 10.
Lap 22 out of 27. Martin has extended his lead over Acosta to 1.6 seconds, making it seem unlikely that Acosta can catch up to win.
Bagnaia needs to overtake the two competitors in front of him to secure a podium finish and prevent his championship gap to Martin from increasing to 26 points.
That likely spells the end for his chances at winning the championship as well.

Lap 18 out of 27.
Martin's advantage has shrunk to just 0.645 seconds. Bastianini is 2.8 seconds behind Acosta, who is in second place. It's a tough challenge for the Ducati racer.
