Fashion technology start-up in Hong Kong secures funding, targets expansion in mainland China and South Korea
The homegrown start-up, Code-Create, intends to amass a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to fuel its short-term expansion strategies.
Code-Create, a software company from Hong Kong that specializes in fashion design, is collaborating with a domestic venture capital firm to gather funds for its growth strategy. Initially, it aims to penetrate crucial markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business is targeting a minimum fundraising of US$2 million by the conclusion of 2025, assisted by their strategic investing partner, Eschange Capital. The raised funds will be directed towards bolstering marketing efforts, team expansion, and software upgrades to accomplish their objectives.
"China's market possesses enormous possibilities," stated Kim Wong, the co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. He further mentioned that Code-Create has already established its footprint on several social platforms in the mainland and within its customer base. "Our goal is to expand to the worldwide market."
Their AiDA software, also known as the AI-driven Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs a variety of AI methods to meet the requirements of designers throughout the brainstorming and design stages. It speeds up the product development cycle from the creative idea to the product's release.
