Fashion tech start-up from Hong Kong secures funding, targets expansion in mainland China and South Korea
Code-Create, a local start-up, sets its fundraising goal to a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to support its immediate expansion objectives.
Code-Create, a software company from Hong Kong that specializes in fashion design, is partnering with a domestic venture capital fund to secure funding for its growth strategy. The company's initial focus will be on establishing a presence in pivotal markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business has set a goal to generate a minimum of $2 million by the close of 2025, in collaboration with Eschange Capital, a key investing ally. The raised capital will be allocated towards marketing efforts, team expansion, and software upgrades in order to reach its objectives.
"China holds immense possibilities as a market," stated Kim Wong, the CEO and co-founder, during a press conference on Monday. He further mentioned that Code-Create has already established its footprint across numerous social platforms within mainland China and has a diverse client base. "We aim to expand to the international market."
The AiDA software, also known as the AI-powered Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs various AI technologies to support designers during the idea formation and design phase. It speeds up the product development cycle from the initial creative idea to the product's release.
