Hong Kong's innovative fashion tech start-up secures funding, targeting expansion in mainland China and South Korea
The home-grown start-up Code-Create is striving to accumulate a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to finance its imminent expansion strategies.
Code-Create, a software company from Hong Kong that specializes in fashion design, is partnering with a local venture capital fund to generate funding for its growth strategy. Initially, it aims to penetrate crucial markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business venture plans to secure a minimum of $2 million in funding by the conclusion of 2025, aided by Eschange Capital, their key financial collaborator. The capital will be allocated towards marketing initiatives, team expansion, and software upgrades to realize its objectives.
"China's market presents enormous possibilities," stated co-founder and CEO Kim Wong during a press conference on Monday. He further mentioned that Code-Create has already established a footing on several of the country's social platforms and within its clientele. "Our aim is to penetrate the international market."
AiDA software, short for Artificial Intelligence-based Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs a variety of AI tools to support designers during the brainstorming and designing phases. It speeds up the product development cycle from the initial creative idea to the product's market introduction.
