Fashion tech start-up from Hong Kong secures funding for expansion in mainland and South Korea
Hong Kong-based start-up Code-Create hopes to gather a minimum of US$2 million by the close of 2025 to back its immediate expansion strategies.
Code-Create, a software company from Hong Kong that specializes in fashion design, is partnering with a domestic venture capital firm to gather funds for its growth strategy. Initially, they are focusing on crucial markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new business venture is targeting to secure a minimum of $2 million by the close of 2025, assisted by its investment collaborator, Eschange Capital. The raised capital will be directed towards bolstering marketing efforts, expanding the team, and improving software capabilities to reach its objectives.
"China holds enormous market possibilities," shared Kim Wong, CEO and co-founder, during a press conference on Monday. He further added that Code-Create is already established on several domestic social platforms and has a client base in the region. "Our goal is to tap into the international market."
The AiDA software, an AI-powered Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, leverages various AI technologies to support designers throughout the ideation and design stages. It speeds up the process from the initial creative idea to the product's market introduction.
