Hong Kong's fashion technology startup secures financing, targets expansion in mainland China and South Korea
Homegrown startup Code-Create seeks to garner at least US$2 million by the close of 2025 to finance its imminent expansion strategies.
Code-Create, a software provider for fashion design based in Hong Kong, is collaborating with a regional venture capital firm to secure funding for its growth strategy, initially focusing on crucial markets in mainland China and South Korea.
The new enterprise plans to generate a minimum of $2 million by the close of 2025, through the assistance of its strategic investment ally, Eschange Capital. The gathered funds will be allocated to areas such as marketing, team expansion and software improvement to help reach its objectives.
"China's market holds enormous possibilities," stated Kim Wong, co-founder and CEO, during a press conference on Monday. He further highlighted that Code-Create is already established across several social platforms on the mainland and within its customer base. "We aim to extend our reach to the international market."
Their AiDA software, also known as an AI-driven Interactive Design Assistant for Fashion, employs a variety of AI tools to support designers throughout the ideation and design phases. It fast-tracks the product creation process from the initial creative idea to the product's unveiling.
