Hamilton leads the pack, followed by Norris, Sainz, Piastri, and Leclerc.
Russell completed a late qualifying simulation and secured the sixth position in his Mercedes.
Hamilton is in the lead, followed by Norris, Sainz, Piastri, Leclerc, Hulkenberg, Ricciardo, Alonso, Stroll, and Bottas.
However, the overall performance on the soft tires was disappointing, resulting in only a 14th place finish.
Magnussen's vehicle has been given the all-clear, and the second practice session has resumed with 18 minutes remaining.

There is a gap of just over one-tenth of a second separating the top five drivers: Hamilton, Norris, Sainz, Piastri, and Leclerc.
Hamilton managed an impressive lap shortly after expressing concerns about not having a tow. This time, he completed his most recent lap near Stroll.
He reports that there is some movement occurring inside his cockpit.
The two McLaren drivers didn't have flawless laps, with Norris finishing just 0.007 seconds ahead of Piastri. Notably, Norris was 0.3 seconds slower than his teammate in the first sector but made up for it by being about 0.3 seconds faster in the final sector.
The McLaren duo begins their initial laps using soft compound tires.
Leclerc's impressive lap secures a 1-2 finish for Ferrari in the first practice session. Both Leclerc and Sainz delivered solid performances, placing them several tenths of a second ahead of Norris, who finished in third place.
Verstappen delivered a strong lap, placing him third in the standings, though he trails Sainz by 0.3 seconds.
Sainz, Norris, Hamilton, Piastri, Ricciardo, Leclerc, Hulkenberg, Gasly, Magnussen, and Alonso.
Norris leads the standings with a time of 1 minute 21.605 seconds, narrowly edging out Hamilton's previous best by under a tenth of a second.
Bottas was pushing for a fast lap when he encountered a slow McLaren and Aston Martin near Turn 1. As a result, both Bottas and Norris had to go through the run-off area.
Hamilton is currently in the lead with a time of 1 minute and 21.641 seconds, which is 0.6 seconds faster than Magnussen.
Ocon, driving for Alpine, is the first one to hit the track.

Verstappen leads the leaderboard with a time of 1 minute and 21.676 seconds, finishing 0.2 seconds quicker than Leclerc. The top five at Monza are rounded out by Norris, Sainz, and Bottas.
