Ferrari’s Enrico Cardile Departs Amid Rumours of Aston Martin F1 Move
Ferrari has announced the departure of Enrico Cardile, who is rumored to be joining Aston Martin's Formula 1 team.
Ferrari has revealed that Enrico Cardile will be leaving the team, amid speculations that he will be joining Aston Martin.
Cardile has served as the technical director for Ferrari's chassis since he became a part of the F1 team in 2016.
The 49-year-old is rumored to be joining Aston Martin, as Lawrence Stroll keeps strengthening the team from Silverstone.
Ferrari's leader, Frederic Vasseur, will temporarily take over Cardile's responsibilities.
A statement from Scuderia Ferrari HP revealed that Enrico Cardile will be departing from the organization, stepping down from his position as the technical director for the chassis division.
Following nearly 20 years of service with Ferrari, Cardile has submitted his resignation. Consequently, effective immediately and as a temporary solution, team principal Frederic Vasseur will take charge of the chassis department.
“Scuderia Ferrari HP extends their gratitude to Enrico for his many years of dedicated service.”
