A Welsh government official is facing criticism after making a post that claimed Conservatives were "pleased" with the death of "children."
He expressed his views on the social media site X, reacting to the party's resistance to the implementation of the 20mph speed limit.
In September of the previous year, the Welsh government altered the standard speed limit for urban zones.
The organization recently stated that it is conducting an evaluation and that certain roads may revert to their previous state later this year.
Since 2021, Mick Antoniw has served as the counsel general for the government, holding the most senior legal position.
The standards commissioner of the Senedd was approached with a grievance regarding a post made by Mr. Antoniw.
"The post accused the Tories of taking pleasure in seeing citizens, especially children, harmed and killed in traffic incidents. It labeled this attitude as completely reckless, yet not unexpected."

First Minister Mark Drakeford informed him that the counsel general "immediately removed the tweet."
He noted that Mr. Antoniw later admitted that, upon further reflection, he would not have phrased it that way.
