According to a quick YouGov survey, Sir Keir Starmer emerged as the top performer in the Sky News leaders' event.
Approximately 64% of respondents believed that the leader of the Labour Party emerged as the victor, while 36% felt that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak performed better.
The inquiry posed was: setting aside personal political biases, which leader do you believe had the strongest performance in tonight's broadcasted leadership event?

During the "Battle For Number 10" event, held live at Grimsby Town Hall, each leader underwent a 20-minute interview with Sky News political editor Beth Rigby, which was then followed by a 25-minute Q&A session with questions from the audience.
Subsequently, 58% of respondents in the survey perceived Sir Keir as more trustworthy, compared to 28% who favored Mr. Sunak in that regard.
Additionally, 56% of respondents found Sir Keir more appealing, while only 29% felt the same about his opponent.
71% of respondents felt that the Labour leader seemed more connected with the average person, compared to 13% who believed the prime minister was more relatable.
When survey participants were questioned about which candidate appeared more like a prime minister, 50% believed Sir Keir fit the role, while 35% felt that Mr. Sunak did.
Participants were also queried on who they believed excelled in the discussion about the NHS.
Based on the survey, 70% of respondents favored Sir Keir, while 20% supported Mr. Sunak.

In the segment addressing youth concerns, Sir Keir was favored by 58% of respondents as the stronger performer, compared to 27% who preferred the prime minister.
In the discussion concerning economic issues, the Labour leader edged out with 49% compared to the Conservative leader's 42%.
The tax segment was nearly a draw, with Sir Keir slightly ahead at 42% compared to Mr. Sunak's 41%.
When polled on which terms (selecting up to three from a provided list) best characterized the event, 52% of voters selected "interesting," 47% opted for "frustrating," 37% described it as "engaging," 27% found it "helpful," and 26% labeled it as "vague."
At the gathering, Beth Rigby posed questions to Mr. Sunak regarding the advancements he has achieved on the five major goals he established at the beginning of the previous year.
In his response, he noted that the strikes by junior doctors have affected NHS waiting times, which led to him being audibly jeered by someone in the crowd.

Previously, Sir Keir appeared momentarily taken aback when a member of the audience described him as a "political robot" and questioned his approach to winning over voters.
Following a short pause and laughter from the crowd, Sir Keir emphasized his background in public service, notably his role as director of public prosecutions, and clarified that he is not driven by partisan politics.
When questioned if Sir Keir had persuaded him, the audience member responded, "It appears you didn't really respond to the question."
The head of the Labour Party mentioned that their upcoming manifesto, which is scheduled for release on Thursday, will not have any unexpected tax proposals. Meanwhile, Mr. Sunak reaffirmed his commitment to vigorously campaign until the election's final day.
