Miller and Zarco’s Last-Lap Misano Duel: A Racing Incident, Says Miller Amidst Controversial MotoGP Finishes
Jack Miller shares his thoughts on the final-lap showdown with Johann Zarco in Misano

Enea Bastianini's overtaking move on Jorge Martin was not the sole controversial incident during the Emilia-Romagna MotoGP race.
Jack Miller and Johann Zarco had a similar confrontation, occurring on the final lap at Misano.
LCR Honda's Zarco surpassed KTM's Miller in their fight to secure the 15th position.
Bastianini's victorious move on Martin captured everyone's focus, and the MotoGP officials didn't even consider it necessary to examine further.
Martin, along with Marc Marquez, accused Bastianini of being at fault for his bold maneuver.
However, Miller maintains that neither the dispute between Bastianini and Martin nor his own confrontation with Zarco involved any misconduct.
"According to Speedweek, Miller described it as a straightforward racing scenario – the final lap and a fight."
"When you see Zarco's move compared to mine in the final lap at Turn 14, or Diggia's maneuver against me in that identical bend – that’s all part of the sport!"
The issue with these bicycles is that it's impossible to pass another rider without making contact.
"Unless you configure an insane setup that allows you to aggressively brake into the turns like a madman. It's fortunate that both riders managed to stay on the motorcycle."
Initially, Miller climbed eight positions during the Emilia Romagna MotoGP, starting from 19th in the qualifying round.
However, the two Honda riders – Joan Mir and Luca Marini – managed to overtake Miller, followed by Zarco, who became the third Honda rider to speed past him.
Miller's challenges with the KTM will conclude by the end of 2024, and during the Misano test, he played a minimal role in the advancements planned for the upcoming year.
Miller confirmed last weekend that he has secured a new team for the upcoming season.
He is set to team up with Miguel Oliveira in the freshly established Pramac Yamaha initiative.
Until that point, Miller's challenges with the KTM will dominate his thoughts.
