Luca Marini Celebrates Turning Point with Honda: Eyes Success in Indonesia Following Best Season Performance
Luca Marini has expressed enthusiasm, stating, "The motorcycle is at its prime since my beginnings."
At last, Luca Marini brings a hopeful report concerning Repsol Honda.
Luca Marini asserts that his Honda motorcycle is currently in its prime condition since he began his association with the company.
Marini's initial season with Honda has been predominantly disappointing, with his first MotoGP point of 2024 only arriving in the ninth round, benefiting from tyre pressure sanctions imposed on three competitors.
However, during the previous week in Misano, the two main Honda racers experienced an uncommon spell of success.
Joan Mir secured the 11th spot while Marini followed closely in 12th, having both passed KTM's Jack Miller.
This marked the season's peak performance for both riders from Repsol Honda.
"Marini expressed excitement about returning to Mandalika for this weekend's event, saying, 'I am really looking forward to Indonesia.'"
Honda's remarkable presence is unmistakable each time you visit.
"We're entering a positive phase, with races showing our advancement and progress, and currently, the motorcycle is in its prime since my initiation with Honda."
"I'm eager to return to action and continue putting in the effort, so the prospect of three consecutive races is a favorable one for me.
"I have a fondness for Indonesia and am eager to see our accomplishments with the RC213V."
Mir commented, “Naturally, it feels great to board the plane following a more favorable outcome, yet there remains effort to be made to return to the level both Honda and I believe we belong at.
"However, this is an initial move, and we need to solidify our position in the upcoming competitions."
In recent months, we've made a discovery that's truly encouraging. Indonesia stands out as a remarkable destination, with Lombok being an exceptionally beautiful island.
"There are multiple challenges to overcome, including the heat and occasionally the rain. Let's make the best of it."
Mandalika Circuit holds cherished memories for the latest rider of Repsol Honda.
Last season, Marini captured his inaugural MotoGP pole position at this venue.
