Race Update
An inquiry is underway regarding Pedro Acosta for a potential violation related to tyre pressure! This could result in him dropping from second place, potentially adding an additional four points to Bagnaia's total.
Jorge Martin clinches victory at the Indonesian Grand Prix, outpacing Acosta and Bagnaia to take the checkered flag.
He now leads the championship by 21 points, having secured his first victory on a Sunday since the race at Le Mans.
Heading into the last round. The lead positions remain unchanged.
With just two laps remaining, Martin is ahead by 2.4 seconds, leading Acosta, and Bagnaia is in third place.
It seems that a Yamaha's front fender can be seen lying near the outer side of the last turn. It's unclear whose it might be.
As of lap 25 out of 27, Martin has extended his lead to 2.2 seconds.
Amidst the turmoil seen in this competition, merely a dozen competitors are poised to reach the end.
With four laps remaining, Martin is in the lead, ahead of Acosta by 1.8 seconds, while Bagnaia holds the third position. The world champion trails the second-place by 3.6 seconds, making the top three positions appear secure unless unforeseen events unfold.
Bagnaia advances to third place, surpassing Morbidelli at Turn 10, securing a position on the podium.
As the race hits the 23rd lap out of 27, Martin has extended his lead to 1.7 seconds ahead of Acosta, while Bagnaia is closely pursuing Morbidelli for the third position.
Bagnaia secured fourth place from Bezzecchi when the VR46 competitor went off track at Turn 10.
As we hit Lap 22 out of 27, Martin has extended his advantage over Acosta to 1.6 seconds. It appears that the victory is now firmly in Martin's grasp.
Bagnaia must overtake the two competitors in front of him to secure a spot on the podium and prevent his championship gap from Martin widening to 26.
Certainly, this marks the end of his aspirations for the championship, doesn't it?

Bastianini has crashed at the first corner!
As they cross the starting line for lap 21 out of 27, Martin has extended his lead over Acosta to 1.028 seconds, while Bastianini records the quickest lap time so far with a 1 minute 30.539 seconds.
Bastianini has just eight laps left to deliver an exceptional performance. His speed is significantly superior to all his competitors.
In the 20th of 27 laps, Bastianini has just clocked a new personal record in third place. He's half a second faster than the race frontrunner, Martin.
As the race enters its 19th lap out of 27, Martin has expanded his lead to 0.9 seconds as the lap begins. Bastianini has clocked a 1 minute and 30.658 seconds lap time, marking his fastest in the race so far. He is now two seconds ahead of Acosta.
Bagnaia remains in sixth place, with his chances for a podium finish diminishing.
As of the 18th lap out of 27, Martin's advantage has been reduced to a mere 0.645 seconds. Meanwhile, Bastianini faces a challenging 2.8-second gap to catch up to Acosta, who is currently in second place—a significant challenge for the Ducati competitor.
Bastianini overtakes Morbidelli on the inside at Turn 12 in a stunning move, climbing to third place.
On lap 17 out of 27, Acosta received a message to switch to mapping 2, with Martin maintaining a lead of 1.026 seconds ahead of him.
