The championship frontrunner will be accompanied at the start of the race by Marco Bezzecchi, who found himself on the track mere moments before the race's conclusion, and newcomer Pedro Acosta.
Francesco Bagnaia, who is competing with Martin for the title, will start from the second row alongside his Ducati team colleague Enea Bastianini and Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo.
Marc Marquez and Enea Bastianini crashed during the initial lap, leading to yellow flags being waved. Consequently, Bagnaia and Franco Morbidelli entered the final lap without recording a lap time due to the incident.
Marquez, initially tumbling as he pursued Jorge Martin, experienced a distressing second spill in his attempt to keep up with Bagnaia, resulting in a 12th place finish.
Miguel Oliveira is missing following a highside incident on Friday morning that resulted in a broken right wrist.
